Good piece of kit
So far so good, I bought this to eliminate dead spots round the house and it certainly works. Easy to setup, comes with a lovely app that is useful and full of features. Haven’t had any problems with it this far. Only criticism is that it comes with US plugs, I had to buy US visitor adaptors for use in the UK. Not clear in the description that this is the case, but no big deal the adaptors are cheap. Overall pleased with this product, would recommend.

I am ASUS fan and this mesh router system is very easy to install and easy to keep it out of site. The WiFi signal is decent

This works with NBN FTTN in Australia. I still used ISP supplied device though, but configured it for bridge mode. So, routing/NAT is all done on the xd4 and ISP device just acts as modem. Pppoe username/password is setup in the xd4’s WAN setting. Xd4 was intelligent enough to detect that it is a pppoe connection. Seems like 1 node is enough to cover 500m2. I just installed 2 and its more than enough, full bars anywhere in the house. You can have different SSIDs tied into each radio or just configure 1 SSID for both. Its more stable if you set the channel it would use instead of leaving it on auto. So far no issues. Will update if any issue comes up.

This is not my first rodeo with wifi systems, and the previous reviews were very helpful in terms of addressing setup tricks and confirming that I could set up the 2.4 and 5 GHZ systems separately. This mesh system was installed in a 1910-vintage house that's partly brick and has lath & plaster walls which are not friendly to wifi signals. Although the house was only about 1250 square feet, there were serious dead spots with the former Xfinity supplied router. We changed the modem at the same time, and that accounted for the biggest delay in installation as we forgot to authorize the modem before installing the mesh system. Once that was done, setup was a matter of minutes. Each mesh unit has a helpful light which changes color to indicate its status. The directions were clear, and we ended up not using the phone app to do the setup - a laptop and web page was more helpful and faster. We were careful to set up the 2.4 and 5 GHZ systems separately so that IOT objects in the house could be connected to the 2.4 system, and we used separate network names to help prevent phones shifting back and forth between the systems. Connected to a 1 GB Internet feed, this system is blazing fast; the speed check went off the dial on the top end. Service throughout the house is consistent and strong on the main floor and the basement, and the signal extends well into the back yard which was previously a totally dead zone. The system has been in place for a month and has performed flawlessly. Top marks for an easy setup and excellent service. BTW - if you think "easy setup" means plug & play, then embrace the real world. Any system like this requires you to READ the directions, take one step at a time, and think about what you're doing. If you can't program the clock on a microwave, you can't set up any wireless system properly. This IS an easy system to set up, but it's technology that requires a thoughtful and careful setup.

My home is a L shaped home of about 1400 Sq Ft and my internet speed subscribed in 1Gbps. Since the Internet provider's router is setup near to main door, with my previous Wifi router (Netgear) there was zero network in my 2 of my bedrooms and just 2 sticks as range in one of the bedroom as the wifi needs to penetrate about 5 to 6 walls to reach my bed rooms. With my previous router, i have tried using WiFi extender and repeaters and all have failed to provide a decent internet speed thru WiFi across my house. Thus was using 4G even when I am home. With this mesh setup i get full network in all my bedrooms with very good speed. In the remotest corner of the house wherein I was getting zero WiFi previously, now, i get a speed of 200 Mbps with google's speed test and more than 350 Mbps in my hall. As per other reviews i was expecting more than 450 Mbps across my house, but i am not able to get more than 350 Mbps even while standing near to the router. I am very satisfied with the the ASUS ZenWiFi AX Mini Mesh WiFi 6 System as I can download files with a minimum of 5 Mp Per Second and can, play games and view all HD and Blue Ray quality videos on the Online video portals without any lag or delay across the house. Will definitely recommend this product if you are facing less WiFi network or if there are some dark spots with no WiFi connection in the house. As it's not very expensive and also satisfies the need to have a decent internet speed with a very higher coverage.
