Having purchased other plantex product earlier,this one was not upto mark.The door hing is a cheap arrangement .Needs a bit of effort to unlock.

The Plantex Letter Box has multiple flaws that make it a poor choice: Not Waterproof: Water easily enters the box during rain, defeating the purpose of keeping mail safe. Unreliable Lid: The lid does not close properly every time and often remains open, allowing water to enter. Poor Sealing: The see-through portion leaks easily, compromising both visibility and protection. No Drainage: Water collects inside, leading to soaked and spoiled letters. Inferior Material: The metal rusts quickly, even with minimal exposure to the elements. Poor Workmanship: The joints are not sealed properly, letting water seep through from all sides. The shared pictures were taken after thorough washing. Overall, the product lacks both durability and basic weatherproofing. Not suitable for outdoor use.
