After years of polish and potions, I have finally figured out that this product, plus a high quality brush is about all I need to keep my (cordovan) shoes looking amazing. I brush before and after every wear. Then, apply this as needed to get give them a great clean. Buff dry after a few minutes. Easy to apply, and great for the shoes.

Have only used once so far and seems to work pretty well.

This Collonil 1909 Leather Cream has been excellent for maintaining my leather bags. It goes on smoothly, absorbs well, and instantly restores a rich, clean shine without making the leather look greasy. After regular use, my bags look well-conditioned, polished, and almost new again, with the leather staying soft and protected. A little goes a long way, and it’s now a staple for keeping my leather goods looking their best. Don’t over apply it though, it can leave those white dried steaks on your bags. Beware and follow instructions.

I bought this to treat some of my handbags and I was not disappointed. I first tried it on a purple Gucci bag that certainly needed some caring, and OMG! It’s like a new bag! The purple color is now vibrant and it has a completely new shine. After this success I continued to apply it to my Chanel (grey) and it worked perfectly. It didn’t darken the leather of the bag nor changed the color in any way. It also doesn’t leave any sticky residue which is great. The bag looks and feels hydrated and has a nice shine to it. I’ll be using this stuff for all my bags going forward. Great stuff!

I typically use the Coach leather cleaner and conditioner set but saw this come up as a recommendation to give the leather (handbags) the shiny finish but upon arrival, I tried a patch test on one of my burgundy bags and it seems to remove some of the color on the edges? Leather feels more hydrated for sure but im not sure its giving that shiny look I was going for and i have a bit of concern with the color retention so stopped using. Smells decent and seems to slightly rehydrate so giving a 3 star but I don't believe this works for me personally.
