Needed a gate to keep my Morkie puppy Daisy contained. Love that I can easily pick this up and set it wherever I need it. It’s self standing and very sturdy. Right now I’m using it in front of the stairs to keep Daisy confined to the first floor. Can step over the gate without having to move it when going upstairs. It’s heavy enough that Daisy can’t knock it down and tall enough that she can’t jump over it.

Wow, this rarely happens with my weird staircase (open halfway down, regular gates never work right) but this was perfect…right out of the box! Ready to use, no assembly necessary, excellent quality, looks and works great! I needed to be able to keep my puppy downstairs for potty training purposes and this is perfect and easy to place on the steps and fold up when not in use! Stands up and it substantial enough to do the job! Get this!!

Not too bad, but there is one thing you must do for them to be really functional - particularly when you are trying to keep a puppy out of certain areas. That is, you need something to keep the footings on the gate. It is easy to get zip ties to go around the footings to keep them on the gate. The footings will otherwise fall off all the time when you move the gate, be annoyingly useless and so the gate will fall down a lot. You just need one zip tie for each footing which goes underneath it, then up and over the horizontal strut of the gate obliquely, then tighten up the zipper tie at the top (get some of the longer ones). I have included a photo looking down on the gate in place. Note the black zip tie wrapping around with the end of it seen on the left. Works well. I imagine there are better options for this fix, but this is pretty easy.

It is quite pricey but I think it was worth it because of many different solutions it brought to my room. I have to keep my kitten in my room and as my family is allergic, it equaled to keeping the litter box in my room as well. I have a dog in my room that I keep as well in the room which turned out to a disaster where the dog began snacking on my kittens feces... I didn't really have the option to segregate my small room so I decided to buy this gate because I knew my dog wouldn't force his way through the gate as he's a gentle dog. I placed the gate in a L-shape in front of the litter box and it definitely is sturdy and well weighted enough that my dog didn't even attempt to cram his way through. Of course it's with the help of pinching one of the panels between the litter box and a furniture. The flap that's covering the litter box opening is very easy to open, no wobble, no creaks, just very simple. It works well with containing the cat litter within the perimeter of the gate so it helped keep my room clean overall. Also very easy to move because it's not so heavy.

LOVE this gate. It's freestanding, which is what I wanted. Matches my wood flooring. I use it to keep the dog out of the litterbox. Yes, she could knock it over or jump over, but she doesn't. It's perfect!

Omg I’m so happy!!I researched and debated and debated and researched…. I had an old clunky, heavy duty, hard plastic baby corral gate across this opening. The hinges were very stiff, so you really just had to step over it. It just wasn’t ideal. I feel like it’s very hard to find a gate For an area this large , that you don’t have to attach to the walls! This gate is absolutely perfect.Not only does it look amazing on my hardwood floors opposed to that bulky ugly plastic thing I had, But it has very sturdy, solid rubber feet on the bottom that really hold it in place and protect the floor. The hinges move freely so we are able to literally lift and swing the right panel to open it and walk-through! Just like a door! I was Worried because this style gate doesn’t have a door and I really felt like we needed some sort of door for this area to make it easier on us. But this gate is absolutely perfect. I’m so happy with it!!! I had it out of the box and in the opening within a minute. It took me longer to fold up the stupid plastic bulky that it did for me to take this one out of the box and set it up. This folds and unfold in seconds. As far as lightweight versus heavyweight… It’s sturdy enough, But it also isn’t too heavy to manage. Super pleased!!!!!!!!!! Ps: honestly, I think I’m going to go online and order the three panel version to go in between my kitchen and my mudroom!
