Q: How do you get the point out to write? I can't figure it out. I may need to return. Help

When the pen is new, use two hands to open. Grasp the top and bottom, then pull apart gently like you're attempting to stretch the pen, it will expand and the writing tip will appear from the obvious end. After awhile, one becomes used to handling it and they can open and close it with one hand, just takes a bit of practice, but very smooth and natural once mastered.

Hi, this pen comes with black gel ink writing ink inside. The cross refill number is #8523, other colors can be purchased separately.

They do not have the refills that cone with the pen. Very upset about this.
