This stuff is a life saver. I had a bout of Alopecia and when my little bald head started growing hair again, I used this as well as the shampoo. I now have a full head of thick hair! I mixed some yesterday in my dogs shampoo to see if it will help his itching.

I like this because it has a lot more nutrients than regular castor oil. But DO be advised that it’s thicker (more like molasses) and it really DOES smell of burnt ash.

The name Itself speaks volumes, Jamaica oh gosh, they put so much love in this product for you. From going to get my eyebrows wax have really hindered the growth trying this product on my long lashes and on my eyebrows they have grown. I definitely recommend this product from a person who have been going to get their eyebrows wax with the pulling up the follicles out your your Your head definitely try this product. I have been known to put it on my lashes to maintain them, my eyebrows grew back. I even put it up under my eyes because if you know anything about the ingredients, it pulls out the impurities.

Seems to be great quality. Authentic, dark, and thick. I just can't get last the smell! It's atrocious. I have a very sensitive nose and I instantly thought of a homeless person who smokes heavily. Like clothes saturated in cigarette smoke and a touch of stale urine. That's exactly what it smells like! I guess that's the authentic smell of Castor Oil but it's almost enough for me to not use it. I'm going to try to keep using it for the hair growth benefits and see how to goes but will definitely not be leavin the house with it on.

Someone told me this sounds like an advert thus pardon my prose. Oh yes, this 2 × dark Jamaican castor oil is unmatched. It is viscous but not viscous like glue and not oily like ghee. It has got a very distinct smell, something like a very sharp fire with a certain type of wood that makes you know it came about authentically. It is not just any type of burnt scent; it is a very real and true burnt scent that cannot be duplicated or replicated unless certain conditions are met. This oil is special because there are very small but noticeable pieces of charcoal that feel like grains of something most persons will likely say shall not be in there hence its status as unfiltered. This stuff is not to be wasted. I anticipate very much to know in a fortnight's time the positive effects it has got on my skin on which it will be used daily with regularity.

Used this for my hair it was definitely easy to apply, the texture was very thick but it had a nice shine to it. It really didn't have much of a smell to it but it did keep my hair and my kids hair moist.

I like this oil because it's thick enough to hold my loc retwists like a gel without the stiffness, and it's rich in fatty acids to promote a healthy scalp and shiny locs. But I don't care for how smoky it smells.
