Excellent product and phenomenal service experience
Would very highly recommend this brand, the grinder itself is excellent, all stainless steel grinding bowls and perfect for spices, coffee, oat or barley flour as well as for wet grinding masalas and marinades. Apart from the product the service is excellent and went way beyond my expectations. After 2 months of use a plastic edge on the body broke off where the lid connects to the body, the unit was still functional but I was afraid it might fail due to this so I sent them an email and they responded the very next day asking for the invoice and picture of the unit and within 2 days I had a brand new unit on my doorstep - phenomenal service experience! and they did not want the unit back ( I donated it to goodwill )

Used daily and love it.
Love this grinder! It works great for a fresh ground coffee every morning. I also love how it can be taken apart and comes with a lid for storing the coffee you grind with the secondary lid. Whoever made this, thought of the little things.

Excellent quality; grinds beans well and not as loud as our previous coffee bean grinder.
I had to replace our prior Bodum coffee bean grinder, because the on/off switch kept malfunctioning, making it impossible to start. I decided to try this Cosori model, because it had the handy feature of being able to be taken apart for thorough cleaning. From the start, it was obvious that the Cosori model had a much stronger, heavier motor than the Bodum one, and better quality components all around. The Cosori model is much quieter while operating; it doesn't wake up my family when I grind my coffee beans. Previous grinders had left a dusting of ground coffee around the machine, probably due to having to invert the grounds into the lid to transport them to the coffee filter for brewing, This better Cosori model eliminated that problem, because the grinding basket remains upright as you twist and remove the cup, making it simple to carry to the filter without any mess. It comes with a handy brush to cleanly get all the grounds neatly into the filter basket. Also included in this Cosori grinder are extra silicone seals and a lid for the grinding basket, but I haven't needed to use any of those items yet. I feel confident that this grinder will serve my family well for a long time and I highly recommend to to others.

Good small grinder for small chili peppers 🌶
Got for small chili peppers. Does a good job. Have to shake a few times, restart before totally dust. I put a bag over it to minimize the dust that makes you sneeze forever. After grinding, pounded it on the table and left it for a bit to also minimize dust. Best feature is you are able to put the pieces in the dishwasher. Would recommend. There are other, more pricy grinders that could prob do the job more effectively, but as using only once per year, and interested in low counter space, this does the job.

You're going to LOVE the detachable bowl
Had to replace my last coffee grinder because ... kids. Originally, I was going to purchase the $17-19 one similar to my last, but was intrigued by the removable grinder bowl. I will never go back to the fully integrated units again. You can properly clean the bowl which you simply cannot do with the integrated units. Yes, you can wipe them out with a damp cloth, but how many years of damp cloth residue are in every cup of coffee? This unit comes with 2 detachable bowls: one meant for hard items such as coffee beans, dried spices, etc; one meant for softer/fresher items such as fresh herbs like coriander, parsley, etc as well as oils and vinegar. The primary difference is 1 blade as opposed to 2 blades, respectively. Both bowls are stainless steel. There is a small plastic gasket at the bottom of each bowl, so there is potentially chance of odour retention; however, having separate bowls helps reduce that chance. So far, I've used them to make coffee, ground nuts, flax seeds, cinnamon, and a vinaigrette. Both bowls have their own dedicated lid. The lids don't seal very well, but they're meant to store the chopped food for long periods. The lids have a silicone ring around the top to prevent leaks, etc. One could make a basic vinaigrette, store it with the lid for tea, then manually shake it up at the table without worrying about leaks. The primary/safety lid -- separate from the bowl lids -- also has a silicone ring around the inner-top to prevent bits from flying out of the bowl whilst the unit is in use. There is a safety catch which requires that lid to be in place for the grinder to function. To be fair, keeping that silicone ring clean could lead to a headache years down the road, but I'll remain optimistic. If I were to nitpik, the only complaint would be finding the exact point where the lid slides into the safety catch can be fiddly. There are no fancy timers or lights to hint at grind size; however, you can see everything through the lid, so not a worry. Also, the blade stops within 1 second after releasing the grind button. My last one took 2-3 seconds, so there's another win in my book. It also comes with a small brush which I'll probably lose in a couple weeks. Manufacturer notes do state not use it for extended periods as the motor can get hot. After grinding beans for a 12-cup brew, I did notice the bottom of the bowl feeling quite warm so important to note. As for ease of cleaning, this is a 100% win; as for usability due to 2 separate bowls, yet another 100% win; functionality has given me zero issues thus far, so 100% win. When mine arrived, one of the lid gaskets had a slight tear/cut in it. I reached out to Cosori with a pic, and they immediately sent me a replacement gasket. No headache, no fuss, no jumping through hoops. Customer Service gets another 100% win. Please please please give this a try if you're looking for an inexpensive coffee grinder. You'll be impressed.

Very loud, poorly made
I've had this for a year now. I use this as a spice grinder and it is a poorly made product. It's shockingly loud and gets excessively hot when the motor is run for more than about 20 seconds. It's not an effective spice grinder as it is unable to reduce spice seeds to powder. The best it can do is a gritty mix of very small pieces. It can't really grind less than a tablespoon at a time. Small amounts just whirl around inside. Finally, and worst of all, it's eating itself up inside. It leaves a fine dust of shiny metal particles on the countertop after each use. I should have just replaced my old $20 Krups grider with another Krups, which worked perfectly and lasted 20 years.

This was sent to my son, who wanted freshly ground coffee at home. It works well and he is very pleased with it. He especially likes that he can choose what size of grounds, from fine to coarse, as well as seeing the amount he has through the clear cover of this grinder. Great little grinder!

I bought this product for grinding Indian/ Pakistani spices. I was not sure at first if it will do the job however I found that it actually does a really good job of grinding the spices to powder so I can use them in cooking. Bottom line: great product that actually works. I did not waste my money!

Very satisfied. It is well made and quieter than my other grinder. I use it to store extra grounded coffee and stays fresh for weeks. It is due to its locking cap.
