Can you transfer printed images with this

It actually will work, I found out after almost ruining some shirts. Just press at around 320 for 10-12 seconds, just long enough for the printable HTV to attach to the shirt (or whatever) but release from the tape. Then repress for about another 30 seconds with a teflon sheet over it till it adheres. I just did 10 shirts last night this way and it was very helpful with all the small pieces

Can you use it to transfer rhinestones

Absolutely! I use this tape for any type of heat transfer...whether it be HTV, rhinestones, whatever! It stands up to the temps beautifully and I actually reuse it a couple of times. This tape is a tremendous value!

When I use this it starts pulling the carriers paper itself up with the vinyl. It basically rips a layer of paper off the carrier. Any ideas?

Make the tape a little less sticky by first placing it on either a lint free towel or another piece of fabric BEFORE placing it on your design. I've found this works wonders and it still transfers the design after with no problem.

What is this best for? some say it works with htv but that already has a carrier sheet. no instructions in the package at all.

This is best for transferring your design from it's carrier sheet to your t shirt, etc. So basically instead of peeling your design off the carrier sheet and hand placing it on the item you're designing you will place this transfer tape over top of your design and burnish it. Then peel this tape and the design away from the original carrier sheet and place on your item and heat press as normal. Hope that helps. There are YouTube videos to assist you as well.
