It works very well, exactly as advertised!
Not sure how long these have been round or if they are all this quality, but it is a game changer for me. Super easy to use and it hold well even with high pressure. I have a old hose that I can't unscrew from my fouset, I cut the hose short keeping the good ends and attached it with this product and now I have a working hose and a usable spicket I can use.

Simple Affordable, but not perfect
This product is simple to install and works fairly well. There is a bit of leaking when I am using my hose but not anything too crazy. Overall good product good value.

Not made for 3/4 hose
It did not seal, was hard to tighten. May work on a smaller hose but this one isn’t made for a 3/4 hose. Water just poured out.

easy to use and sturdy!
I used one of these to mend a 1/2" round soaker hose last spring, and now in August, it is still not leaking. One issue, which I noticed another reviewer mentioned as well, is that it is a bit small for a 1/2 inch hose. I had trouble getting the little teeth to fit over the cut end of the hose, but I found that if I gently pried the teeth outwards with a screwdriver, I could expand it enough to fit, and once I did that, I think the slightly smaller size made a tighter and more leakproof fit. I just installed a second one, and now that I know how to do it, it was easy!I also wanted to point out that contrary to what some reviewers said, they do work on a soaker hose. They would not work on a flat hose, but for my round, drip-type soaker hose, they work just fine.Update: I just went to order more and saw that they no longer have the 1/2 inch size. What a shame! I love these and I use a lot of them. Please bring back the 1/2 inch size!

Watch if put under strain.
I got these because there was a garden hose that needed repair. Since I had more than enough length of hose, I thought that I could cut out the damaged (leaking) section and put one of these in. They are easy to use, easy to tighten ( if your grip strength is lower on the scale, get some plumbers pliers for that extra umph) and they work good as long as you don't put them under stress, like what commonly happens with a garden hose when you pull on the end to get the end of the hose where you need it to be. Had one end of the hose slip to a point where it started leaking. It appears to me that the clamping fingers don't quite have enough clamp force on the hose even when the tightening ring is fully screwed on. This is with a medium duty 5/8 inch garden hose that I purchased from a local Ace hardware. Perhaps they would work better on a heavy duty hose considering the side wall of the hose is thicker.

Very pleased with this repair kit!!!
After accidentally getting into my water hose (new this season) with the line trimmer and rubbing/burning a hole in it do to it wrappings around the line trimmer head, I though there goes $46 dollars. Then I searched Amazon for hose repair kits. I was worried about the older style with automotive style clamps. They do eventually rust and hang on things. I saw this product and though now this is the right idea. I had used similar Shark Bite fittings for home plumbing projects and knew this type compression fitting will work. I fixed my hose today in literally 3 minutes and found the product simple to apply. I tested under pressure and no leaks the first time. I like the low price, ease of installation and the stream line no snags final product. I will be letting my friends and neighbors know about this wonderful product. I highly recommend it.

Not Quite as "Easy" as Promised
This Easy Garden Hose Repair Kit had me hopeful, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. Here's the breakdown:Pros:Easy attachment: Putting the connectors on the hose ends is indeed very simple. No tools needed, just push and click.Low pressure use: If you're looking for a temporary fix for hoses with minimal pressure and no nozzle attached, this might work in a pinch.Cons:Leaks under pressure: The biggest letdown is the lack of pressure tolerance. Any decent water pressure makes the connection leak, rendering it useless for most watering tasks.Fragile plastic teeth: The plastic teeth holding the connector together seem flimsy and prone to breaking, raising concerns about long-term durability.Misleading advertising: The "easy" and "repair" claims feel misleading considering the pressure limitations and potential breakage.Overall:While attaching the connectors is indeed easy, this kit isn't a reliable solution for most hose repairs. Unless you specifically need to connect low-pressure hoses without nozzles, I'd suggest looking for a more robust option. This one gets 2 stars for its easy attachment but loses major points for its inability to handle any real pressure and its fragile construction.
