Motion Stool (Blue) by Uplift Desk

I always have knee problems and this stool completely changed my sitting positions which alleviate my knee pains. I'd recommend this to someone who wants to switch sitting positions every few hours. The stool itself is very sturdy and the cushion is comfortable too.

Wish it could go just a bit lower, but otherwise it’s great. Very sturdy.

I got this because a few people at work recommended it and there were decent reviews with it.I was aware of the situation with the cushion not necessarily being comfortable so I took it into account.These standing desk stools aren't meant to be seated for long periods of time, but when I can only sit for about 15-20 minutes, I find myself not using it.I think how comfortable it is depends on the user's form and size of their buttocks.I'm a wide person so the center of the seat hits me right in the bone, which is not a comfortable place to put your weight on.Now, as a high seat to slight lean on while semi-standing, it does help take some weight of the feet, and it's sturdy enough for you to stay balanced.It was easy to assemble, but don't expect to take it apart after you put the seat on. The air vacuum created when you place the seat on the arm is pretty strong and the design won't let you take it off easily.I'm not sure what design change could be made to the seat but I would have liked a little flatter top area or a firmer cushion.Is it worth the $120? I don't think so. There probably a brand upcharge.I will say the mechanism is good quality and it can handle a lot of weight easily. That said, I would have expected it to be around $75.I'll probably try to sell the one I have.

I liked how easy it is to assemble and do like the way you can adjust around but the seat material is so firm there is no way to use it all day.

The stool has a very comfortable seat! Love it as a low stool. As far as to lean on it while standing, it squishes your cheeks in an unnatural way that’s painful and cuts off circulation. I will use mine as a sewing machine stool but not for leaning against while standing. It can also literally fly out from under you if you try to lean on it at an angle while standing.

Using this for 2 days irritated my low back so much. It still hurts months later.

Compared to others, the top sit is very comfortable. Do the job as described. I been using for year, this is my second one. Love it.

Liking this stool for my stand up desk set up. Nice I can put it under the desk too in order to save space. You won't get the back support obviously but I'm okay with it.
