This humidifier is exactly what I needed. I have a 150 square foot room and I run it 8 hours a night every night. I put a gallon of distilled water in it maybe once every 1-2 weeks, so not too expensive. It has pretty cool (if not a little gimmicky) looking lights that illuminate the water. They can either cycle through colors, stay a single color (for a night light maybe), or you can turn the lights off completely. You can also turn the LEDs on the front of the humidifier completely off even while the machine is still running. I put some essential oils in the filter, and you will notice the scent if you're breathing the mist coming directly out of the humidifier, but you can't really smell it elsewhere in the room. I set the humidifier to 60% at full (3/3) mist and it keeps my room at a steady 50%. So, not perfectly accurate, but it is consistent. It comes with a remote which has batteries if you're wondering about accessibility. I sleep with it less than 10 feet away from my head and the noise is hardly noticeable, and after sleeping with it for a while I'm actually used to the noise and find it helps me fall asleep. The humidifier also looks pretty nice in my room, with a small(ish) footprint on my table and a decently sleek and modern design. Highly recommend if you're just looking for something nice that gets the job done!

I bought this to replace an older humidifier that was such a hassle to clean. I've had this one for almost 8 months now and it has been working perfectly. My kids have had several colds and the humidifier has been great to put in their rooms and help them sleep better while stuffy. It is quiet and the light turns off which is good for me because I am sensitive to light while sleeping. When I use it in my daughter's room it acts like a night light which she likes! Cleaning though is the most important part. This is very easy to clean and maintain. Since I'm using this mostly with small children it is really important to me that it stays clean and can be thoroughly cleaned by reaching the parts easily. The top is large so it's easy to get in and really clean it well. I have hard water so I have to stay on top of build up. Like I said, it's been almost 8 months and I've been happy with it. I have not encountered any issues. It looks good too, so it's not an eyesore in the bedroom. The only thing I wish I had was a way to turn off the display after choosing your settings. It can be bright especially if you're not used to sleeping with any light at all.

While I set-up the humidifier for the first-time my teen and I cracked up reading parts of the manual to each other that were particularly opaque or just so chock-full of false cognates or odd word choices that it was gibberish. So while I wish they had not cheaped out by not hiring a native-english speaker to write the manual for them, despite that drawback I am enjoying the product's very excellent design and functionality. First and foremost, it is very very easy to refill, as you can take of the lid and simply pour-in from the top into the large water container. I refill it maybe 2x a week, and I sleep in a decent size, high ceilinged bedroom. It has good mist strength, and so far has saved me from the winter sinus troubles from dry heat that has plagued me other winters. I have owned many humidifiers and this does the trick better than any I other I have owned. A real value for the price, especially as I love not having to lug a large container of water to and fro from tub to bedroom, as with most other humidifiers, many of which do not even have flat bottoms, so you have to balance them in the tub while they fill, which is very hard on the back! I love the pretty colored lights and quiet operation, and that you can turn off all the lights, including the led control panel, when going to sleep, so it is totally dark if you prefer that as I do. You just press the moon icon button that says 'Night' under it on the remote. (At least one reviewer did not seem to get this.) BUT as the manual is so very difficult to understand--and there is no website that I have found with more explanation--there are other aspects of the remote I do not get. Sometimes I seem to have to press the power button on the remote a bunch of times to get it to shut off, other times just once, Or the humidity feature doesn't want to set, it just keeps changing in cycles as I press the button. I am sure there is a logic to it, but I have not intuited it yet. I also wish it did not beep when you use the remote, as I do so often when m spouse is already asleep. Perhaps there is a mute option somewhere I have not discovered yet. But as I said above, overall as a product it functions very well and is easy to fill and lasts as long as they say.

I love this dehumidifier. I needed one for the addition to my house. The addition is not as well sealed as it should be and gets very humid in our weather here in summer. This dehumidifier is so very easy to use, lightweight, effortless to clean and empty. I check the humidity every day in the room, and this dehumifier definitely helps to bring the humidity down. Highly recommend for smaller rooms. I read some reviews that it is difficult to empty. I have not found it to be so. I empty it every other day or so, and it is easy to empty and replace. Even if I forget, and it's fairly full, it's still pretty easy to empty. It's quiet and I actually have it where I teach, and it's not at all distracting sound-wise. This dehumidifier pulls water out of the air pretty good compared to other similar size units. That I like. However, there is one serious flaw. When the water tank is anywhere from 1/2 full to completely full and you try to lift the dehumidifier, the water tank will slide right out and crash to the floor, opening and spilling all the water out and possibly cracking the water tank assembly. Unlike other dehumidifiers similar to this one, there is nothing to keep the tank in place. As long as you empty the tank before you lift the entire unit or remember to carefully hold the tank in place if you do then you're ok. But this is a design flaw and they should fix it. Update: After using this dehumidifier for some time now it's has really gotten on my last nerve. Too often I go to dump the water out and before I can even do that the bucket falls and dumps the entire bucket full of water right back into my camper all over the carpet and soaking the bed. The bucket design is horrible. It is perfectly designed to fall out of your hands as it is very awkward to get a good grip on it. Even worse, the lid on the bucket comes off at the touch of a feather so even if you manage to get a hold of he bucket, the lid can still cause you to spill all the collected water right back into your vehicle or where ever. It is a really bad poor design that makes spilling the entire bucket of captured water all over the place likely and I will not buy this one again for this exact reason. The lid should be much more sturdy and be able to hold on even if you turn it upside down in my opinion. Also, the fact that the bucket slides out far too easy it a trap that will frustrate you again and again with spilled water.

I shopped around a lot for a new humidifier for my bedroom, and I am so so so happy I purchased this one. I needed to replace my previous one (different brand) because it kept getting so yucky and was impossible to clean properly because of the shape and design. This one is super easy to clean! You can easily reach EVERY single part and clean the whole thing with just a soft cloth and water. You can even open up the white filter part to clean the little balls inside. There was nothing I couldn’t easily reach. I love all the features it has, including a remote and a sleep setting that turns off the light. I haven’t used the timer because I like it to run all night until I wake up, and it does that just fine unless I forget to refill the water. A full tank lasts me about 2.5 nights. I can’t really speak to the humidity monitor or the essential oil feature, as I don’t care to use those. Overall, I’ve used this every night for a month and a half and I absolutely love it. 10/10, would definitely repurchase or recommend.

TLDR: Good product, does the job. Some features could be improved. Would buy again. This humidifier works just as well as any other I have tried in its class. However, there are a couple benefits to this one over others. First, it is super easy to get inside the tank to clean. The white top comes completely out so no matter the size of your hand, you can get your hand in there to clean. Second, the remote. It is really handy to be able to have this remote so you don't have to get up to turn it on or off (as long as there is water in the tank). The remote has all of the functions that are on the unit itself. The unit also has a very slick look to it, including the LED display (which can be turned completely off, if desired). Auto shut off timer is a nice feature, but note that it is limited to 1/4/8 hour presets. That all being said, there is still room for improvement. I only found one color option for this unit: white. My house has all black and silver appliances, so this unit does not fit in well. It would be nice to have other options. The humidistat does not seem to work, at least on mine. It went through a complete tank without changing much (it sits around 50%, which is definitely not what it is in the room). I even put a gentle fan nearby to help disperse the moisture into the room better (and away from the sensor), but it never went below 49% when the room is at 20%. Next, the LED indicator/light for the tank does not work well while the filter is installed. This could be improved by having multiple LEDs distributed along and closer to the edge so the light travels through the tank plastic better. Finally, if you do any oils in it (I don't), they are added/refilled underneath the unit (where the air intake is), which is obviously inconvenient. Noise: There is a faint whirring noise that you would hear if it was on your nightstand, for example, but I wouldn't call it annoying. There is also the sound of water moving/droplets that splash a little near the base. I hear this more than the whirring, but I would call it more of a soothing feature. Returns: I had to exchange this product due to the fact that the original I received was clearly a used unit (water marks, broken seals, battery seal removed on remote, etc.). This is more of a seller/amazon issue, but it was very easy to exchange.
