I used the same technique and by mid-week Dads toes looked like balloons. I did some more YouTube research and finally found the proper way to wrap the bandage. When wrapping, you have to allow for swelling, especially at the feet and legs, particularly for seniors. The bandage material of this product has no elasticity. To compensate, you need to use an overlapping wrap technique where the wrap keeps doubling back, back and forth, along the top of the foot and leg. Look on YouTube. You'll know you have the right technique when you see it. You'll need to put something over the bandage since its impregnated with medication that will get all over everything if you don't. You can use a compression sock if you'd like. In my case, I use an Ace bandage. I wrap the Ace with modest tension so if swell occurs, it has enough give. If you or yours are dealing with chronic edema, skin ulcers, rashes, shedding dead skin like a snake, etc, and you've been fighting a losing battle so far, give this wrap a try. Outstanding product.
If comfort, gentle compression and protection are helpful, then this is the way to go. Application the "old- fashioned way" for stasis ulcers required tight wrapping with an outer dressing to hold firm for a week at a time. If that is your need, then you've got a potentially correctable vein problem and should see a doctor. For all others, this is the way to go. Antiseptic, analgesic, moisture holding (for a day or two at best), easily wrapped, minimal mess compared to other brands, just as perfect as it can be. Best suited for wounds of leg or forearm. Pink calamine will stain clothing so cover with a compression garment.

Size / width
This product was ordered by a doctor and has worked well. Our only issue is the width. Even though we order the 4” and that’s the picture that appears on our order, we have gotten the 3” twice. Still a good product, just takes more rolls to cover the area.

Miracle healing wrap
Completely healed serious water blisters/ulcers all over my husband's legs in 4 days. His doctors have applied other brands with far far less effect. This boot is astonishing effective in healing properties. Easy to apply. Just wrap calamine/zinc soaked cause around injured area. Can leave on for up to 7 days, however I found at about 3 to 4 day mark gause was dried out. Healing works best when cause is moist I wrapped the moist gauze with coban to keep wet and add compression to leg.

Comfortable
This product is so comforting and relieving when using as the first layer of dressing to a wound that does not want to heal. It was welcome relief to what felt like was my entire leg on fire...best of all, it has been the ONLY thing I can find rhay does NOT stick to my wound.

One of the secrets of woundcare
I spent a small fortune on the junk at walmart and the like so i finally went to Woundcare specialist and after spending a larger small fortune i finally figured out this was part of their dressing that was actually healing my persistent wound. Would buy again but i expect to be healed after this box.
