They do the job
I went ahead and cooked these in the oven for like 5 hours just in case (because you have to me incredibly sterile growing mushrooms) and then I injected them inside a still air box. Just 3 days later and half the jars are colonized with zero contamination.

Great tek, colonized extremely well
I left these sitting in the cupboard for 3 months before use. No contamination, colonized extremely quickly and evenly. Great place to start. I have reused the jars too

Total garbage! 92% contamination rate. 100% infuriation.
Every jar arrived with its lid severely loose and even visually there was an obvious inconsistency in the substrate conditions from jar to jar. I the end, 11 of the 12 jars had contamination. Absolute garbage of a product. Much like their customer service. An inquiry sent to the customer support contact listed on the included leaflet where all problems or issues are requested to be sent on back line from Amazon while discouraging any negative feedback from being left. I obliged, in forming them of the contamination issues only to be told in reply that “the contamination had to have been caused from exposure to fresh air”. Problem being I never opened the lids

Dried out and rock solid
The jars came in the mail but a month after the spore inoculation, nothing grew inside. I had to finally open the jars up and discovered that they were all super packed and they had no moisture inside, which is a terrible way to get anything to grow. I had to dump the jars out, chop up the hardened soil food, add water to it, mix it all up, put it back loosely into the jars, and then re-boil the contaminants out of them and re-inoculate them. Now it's been over a week and still nothing is happening....I recommend adding more moisture and then not putting so much food in so that it's not packed solid inside the jars. Maybe if someone orders these, they should just start off by opening them, stirring them, adding water, and re-boiling them, before they even try to inoculate. That kind of defeats the purpose of pre-made jars though. Good news is the jars are re-ussable... Food inside seems worthless though.

These do not work!!
Not even sure what kind of grain or spawn this is supposed to be?? It’s not oatmeal, rye berries, popcorn, nor brown rice. I inoculated all 6 jars a month ago and there is no growth in any of them, except one which happens to be cobweb mold; and I know because mycelium doesn’t bubble up when sprayed with (3%) hydrogen peroxide. I should’ve known because of how dirty the jars were when they first arrived, they were rusty and had some kind of dried up liquid oozing from it but I still decided to give it a chance. What a waste of my spore syringe. I bought a grow bag I inoculated 2 weeks after these jars and the mycelium is already growing. I didn’t see the lackluster reviews until after I bought it so don’t be like me. DO NOT BUY!
