Kicks others butts!
Only had it three weeks so longevity is a ? It replaced a closely priced Dolphin Premier that was 3 weeks out of warranty AND had a new motor installed at almost 2 years. NO CONTEST. The Polaris cleans better. Recovers itself to tour pool side location and is waaaay easier to clean and store . Hopefully it will last

DO NOT BUY - Junk & A Scam
This product started out great but after 3-4 months of use we received a critical error message and it stoped working completely. We called customer service to exercise the warrantee. They have a process where you send an email to them (every time you contact them it must follow this procedure) and it takes 5 days for them to respond. This is the first sign of a scam where they’re intentionally running the clock out on your warrantee. Customer Service sent us on a wild goose chase, directing us to local pool part companies who looked at us like we were crazy when we said we were seen there to have our pool cleaner fixed as per warrantee. Finally we ended up at Leslie’s pools after several weeks of back and forth with customer service. Leslie’s Pool had the cleaner for months. They sent it back to us a few times but it still did not work. They supposedly even replaced the main computer in the device but after a few weeks it died again and now…you guessed it - the warrantee is up. This is now what my pool looks like with leaves just starting to drop and no pool cleaner running. We have a pool service that comes once per week so you are not seeing neglect, you’re seeing what you get when you buy this pool cleaner. Do not trust this company. Do not buy this cleaner. If I could give it zero stars I would. I paid $1k for a huge headache and what felt like a part-time job in corresponding with customer service and Leslie’s Pools. I got 3-4 months of actual use from this product. It’s garbage and the company doesn’t stand behind their product - probably because they know it’s garbage too.

If only the cord wouldn’t tangle daily.
Great cleaner and does the job in general very well. Scrubs the walls and water line as it claims. App was a little clunky to set up but worked out. Keep in mind people with no common sense design these things it appears or seem to have owned a pool Here are the negatives. 1. Cord tangles daily. Sorry but, pools need to be cleaned daily and hauling this in and out of the pool is counter productive to free time. But this is their expectation. The cord tangles daily because the swivel on the cord and cord material are not in harmony. They say to lay it out in the sun to remove the memory, fine, I do, that makes me work, reducing work is why I bought a pool cleaner. And, the sun isn’t always out and warm year round. After you lay the cord out to remove the memory, it tangles again during first use. 2. Too big and wide as they all are for steps. I have three long linear steps, it may hit the first step partially once a week. 3. The control box is not waterproof, they want you to haul this in and out each day. Good luck if it rains during your use. So, plan on buying a waterproof junction box for $100 if you plan to keep this in use as most need to. Pools need to be cleaned daily with these. 3. You have to buy the fine screen filter, the one it comes with is too open. I’d pay up for the one with mapping but, overall best stupid cleaner I’ve had so far.

Robotic Pool Cleaner
This pool robot is absolutely amazing! It does a great job in cleaning the pool floor and walls. It’s built really well, has a great capacity for cleaning debris and is easy to operate. The automatic lift feature is a great feature for taking it out of the pool for cleaning out the debris basket as well as taking it out when it’s done its job. I highly recommend this product if you’re looking for a great pool robot.

Pool never cleaner!
Replaced a broken Pentair 920 with this one. I was hesitant at first, because I didn’t think the fine filter looked as good as the Pentair one I had. I could not have been more wrong! This cleaner makes our old one seem ancient. Our pool has never been cleaner and we love it! The remote controlling via the app takes a bit of getting used to, and you have to time the action because of the delay. The signal must be going via the Internet and not direct connected to the cleaner. This is my only complaint.

Great seller terrible product
I have always been a long time dolphin product buyer and my 10-year-old dolphin pool vacuum cleaner died. I never gave me any issues and it was always great and climbed plenty of walls. I bought the Polaris due to looking at all the efficiency ease of cleaning and the look. The filter also looked easier to clean as well. I use the product for about 10 minutes and noticed that it stopped. Looked at the control unit to find it had an error code. Unplugged it plugged it back in started working for about 2 minutes and then got the same error code. Being that it was brand new from Amazon I reached out to the company Polaris and talk to their representative. Was told to do the same thing troubleshooting wise as well as taking the plug out and putting it back in. Also was told it could be the chemicals in the pool messing with the unit which I never had this problem with my old dolphin. After about 30 minutes we came to the conclusion that the unit might have been sitting for a long time at a warehouse and that it was defective. Upon asking if this is a common problem I was told not really. I stopped by a local Leslie Pool in Derby Connecticut and found that they have problems with these units with the control unit and the wiring. She told me to return it and get a suction unit that hooks onto the pool pump and it will do the same thing for only quarter of the price. Ended up buying that and returning this unit. I had really high hopes. In The Swim did great and it arrived super fast. The box was super dirty though and did look like a sat in a warehouse for Polaris for a long time. I did also noting upon opening that the unit was very musty smelling and the Box wasn't solid. I wish I can give In The Swim five stars and the unit one star so instead I gave it three stars. Good job in the swim with your customer service and fast delivery. Unfortunately I don't think Polaris is definitely a company to keep in stock anymore.

So Far So Good
I have only used this for a month, so if things change I will repost. In the meantime, I bought this Polaris P965iQ to supplement my in- ground automatic cleaning system so that I could get the leaves off the bottom faster now that fall is approaching. It just needs to run over it once to pick up the leaves with a decent sized basket, which is easily cleaned. So, at least initially, the suction is very good. The soft rubber treads have good cleaning ability and create no slippage climbing the sides. The Polaris has no issues climbing to the beach shelf area and 2 in-pool benches for a complete cleaning cycle. I have a 30X50 foot irregular shaped pool and it cleans in approximately 2 1/2 hrs. The cord is plenty long enough and, as of yet, has not tangled. The “return” feature is wonderful to lift it out of the water, which is not heavy when the water quickly evacuates. Lastly, the convenient carrier rolls away quickly. I would definitely recommend this automatic cleaner. One negative, if you can call that, is the download to your cell phone. It is connected to your WIFI so it allows a hacker another potential “in”. Also, since it is not recommended to leave it in the pool multiple days, there is really no reason to need to start it when you are not home. So you are paying for that extra feature, which I will never use.
