Takes 5 seconds to read with good light, as the left side has the hours written on it and the right side are the minutes in a 10,20,30,40,50 + 1-9 format. You just see where the leds are lit up and do some math. In the night youre going to have to count the LEDs has the numbers arent lit up at all. My advice, dont check the time until you have 5-10 seconds to dedicate to reading the time lol Really nice and very comfortable. Looks sexy.

I really enjoy the look of the watch. It is a brilliant idea for telling time using lights to represent various numbers in an easy to understand manner. This is an amazing watch in that regard and is worth the purchase. However, there are a few small issues with the actual final product that lessen its value. First, the material on the watch is not very durable and it will start to flake off in a short amount of time. This definitely makes the watch look like it's actual price instead of a quality timepiece, which otherwise it mimicks very well. 2nd, I don't know if it's an issue with the battery or the way it was built, but my watch's time is a little slow. Since you can't see seconds, it's harder to notice, but my watch ends up around a minute off every week or so. It is not because I accidentally change the time, because it is a minute behind. You can only move time forward when programming it. I've only had it for about 2 months, so I am still not sure if the battery is to blame or not. 3rd, and the least important issue, if you want to see the time when you are in a very dark location, it can be a lot harder to tell the time. Each light represents a number from 1-12 on the left and 10s on the right followed by 1-9. There are small numbers inscribed on the sides of the lights to remind you and help speed up the process to determine the time. Not a problem. However, despite this watch seemingly being perfect to use in the dark with its light up interface, the tiny numbers don't light up, just the bars. So let's say it's late into the evening in the later half of the hour, it can get pretty difficult to tell the time the first time pressing the button because you can't check the inscription and have to count each bar for the tens and then count each bar for the ones place after that. The light stays on for a brief moment, so it may take 2 or more tries to get the time figured out. Not a big issue. You can get used to it, but I think if the inscriptions could light up too, it would really help. I get the point is that there's no numbers on this watch, but the numbers are so small, they wouldn't interfere with the design at all. But this issue I can overlook. Oh, and if your hands are full and wanna check the time, good luck trying to press the button to turn it on. Final conclusion: FANTASTIC idea, just executed a bit poorly. But for $20, it's worth the price.

Seemed to be an awesome watch - if it worked longer than 30 minutes.
