This is one fantastic drill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got this drill factory reconditioned for 40 dollars. It arrived in less than 48 hours at my door from the time I clicked the "submit order" button. It has a nice case and when I opened it up, what appears to me to be a brand new drill is sitting in the case with the instruction manual. Underneath the main body there is an "R" for "reconditioned" melted into the rubber of the case, so it really is reconditioned, not new, but that's the only way I could tell it wasn't new. There are reviews on this site saying that they had issues with the sensitivity of the trigger. I have no clue what trouble these people had, as I could make that thing rotate at 1/2rpm if I want to. It's very smooth. I received it on Thursday. That afternoon, I began taking out old rusty screws that were holding an old fence together. With this drill, if the screw didn't come out, it broke off, no questions asked. Today, we pulled out more screws, and then began installing new wood with new screws. This drill would run the screw right through the fence board if I wasn't careful. It's very powerful. It's also very quiet. Anyone complaining about this drill's noise hasn't used a Ryobi before. My fathers Ryobi got so hot he had to stop using it. I took over with this drill and finished up the screws he couldn't do with his Ryobi. I would estimate that we have unscrewed 800 old screws and installed 800 new ones. How do I arrive at that number? We did 200 boards on the fence and each board has 4 screws, 2 top, 2 bottom. This drill handled the job effortlessly. This was 8 hours of solid use within 24 hours of the drill arriving at the door. Basically, I torture tested this thing and it blew me and my father away. It's worth the full new asking price of 60 bucks. I got it reconditioned (basically brand new with an "R" in the case) for 40 dollars. My dad builds houses and helped me and told me that's the smoothest drill he's ever used. He kept putting his own Ryobi down and using my drill if I wasn't using it at the time. This drill was also faster than his Ryobi. His also kept dropping the phillips bit out of the keyless chuck. We lost his so many times in the leaves I ended up using my metal detector to find it. This Dewalt never dropped the bit out of it's keyless chuck the entire day. I kept commenting that I couldn't believe I got this drill for 40 bucks. I'm still in disbelief. I keep waiting for the cops to knock on my door and arrest me for theft, because I basically stole this thing.

Great Drill for Anyone!
I bought this for a one time use to buff my headlights clean with the best product out there!!!! (I bought 2 of those "as seen on TV" headlight restore kits and they were JUNK!!) Anyway, this particular headlight restore kit 3M 39008 Headlight Lens Restoration System really worked! I am still shocked at the difference it made, my headlights honestly look new - and my car is a rusted 99 Taurus! Anyway, the directions state - *Utilizes the muscle power of a common household (1200-1600 rpm) drill to do all the necessary sanding and buffing. And this drill is PERFECT!! I've since started fixing things around the house with it, and I have absolutely no experience with power tools at ALL!! So if I can do it, anyone can! This drill is Incredibly powerful! I would recommend this to anyone needing a decent drill; it's not too expensive either! Just a note though, the drill is just that... a drill, it does not come with any attachments! Over all the pros really do outweigh the cons! Plus it comes with a really nifty black carrying case... Anyway, I like it, and I definitely think it is worth the cost (I bought a $60.oo cordless drill from a hardware store first that only had 500 RPM and that was just worthless in comparison!) so if you are lookin for a nice drill for an honest price - go for it!

It was a great replacement for the 20 year old Dewalt drill that finally bit the dust.
This is a basic keyless chuck drill. The wife likes the color so she can find it in the garage, a disadvantage because I end up looking everywhere to find it. The only thing bad I can say is that the old one in comparison was lighter. Regardless, I used it for a few days straight putting up a pergola and it never disappointed me. It is cordless, so the extension cord may be a drawback for some but for me it means max power when I need it. Wish they had made the male electric connector a style that connects solid to an extension cord. Oh well just a small thing...I would buy again...the old one it replaces finally burned up trying to use as a hammer drill so you can see I abuse it a bit.

Great Drill, a home owner must
As a home owner there are some tools that are a must. This is one of those tools. Cordless drills, even the 18v 3/8 are nice for small stuff or tasks where running a cord is just not practical. I have a few cordless drill/drivers. They have their place and do their job very well; but they still can not beat the power or performance of this drill. I originally bought this drill as a backup to my 3/8 cordless. I got tired of charging and changing batteries. I now find myself using this more often than the cordless. This drill is very well made. You notice the quality the minute you pick it up. The keyless chuck works well with this drill due to its size and intended use. For the price this drill can not be beat. It is a small investment, with an excellent return.

Works great-chuck holds bits securely
This was purchased to use in a class I teach in basic underwater robotics. We needed a simple, reliable drill to just drill holes in PVC pipe in the simple vehicles the students build. I had seen reviews where some people were having problems with the chuck. This drill has held the bit securely for the past two weeks of daily use by the three groups of 12 kids . I put the same effort into tightening it initially that I always do with other keyless chucks on drills. No issue with this one at all. I highly recommend this drill.

It's great, just wish it had a keyed chuck.
You wouldn't think there is too much to say about a new drill, but it has a lot of torque, and gives your wrist a little kick when pulling the trigger. This DWD110K model was reasonably priced, but you had to settle for the keyless chuck. Although models with keyed chucks are available, they are around twice the price. This is replacing a 30 + year old Craftsman/DEWALT, so I have had good service from their tools. Also from Amazon I added DEWALT #DW1354, 14 piece split point drill bit set. The larger bits have flats on the shanks, this will offset the keyless chuck. I would purchase it again, as well as recommend it to others.
