I have been a cycle enthusiast for a couple of decades now, and have spent more than most on helmets over the years. The Savant is certainly the best helmet for the money that I've found recently. I sincerely recommend this helmet to new road riders. It's well designed, well ventilated and comfortable! I didn't experience any of the fit or strap issues that I read in other reviews. The Savant has a harness and strap system more like helmets that sell for twice the price. Those other reviewers that had to rig the straps: check out a how-to vid or stop by your local bike shop so they can help you out with the fit. There is a little learning required with strap adjustment on better helmets and if you're going to do a lot of riding on the road you might want to check it out!

Well made brand and model helmet. The weight and comfort were great and the dial in the back makes it easy to adjust the tightness. I live in a very hot and humid climate and still find this helmet to provide sufficient airflow. I have had this helmet for several years now and the quality has endured without deteriorating. As with anything, take care of your gear and it will take care of you.

We purchased two: med and small, the small one was marked used on the packaging and the medium appears to have been opened. I’m guessing these were returned merchandise. Manufacturing date on the small one was Aug. of 2015. The helmets themselves fit well and are comfortable, good looking and well vented. I would definitely buy this brand again, but not from that seller. We replace our helmets every two years.

I have roses with this helmet three times now. Pros: - Comfortable - Easy to fit/adjust to my head - Decent looking - Typical Giro quality Cons: - Not ultra modern or stylish
