I recently installed the Globe Electric 90663 4" Flush Round Trim Recessed Lighting Kit in my living room, and I couldn't be happier with the results! The tempered frosted glass gives off a soft, pleasant light that beautifully illuminates the space without being too harsh. I like the IC (w/ LED only) and Damp ratings and that it takes a standard A19 size LED bulb. I used a wifi smart LED bulb for additional control and automation of the lighting. Installed it in my shower under 18" of blown insulation without accessing the attic, no problem. Very practical can and offset J box design made it straightforward. The junction box is big enough to easily connect the wires but feeds easily into the ceiling from below. It did not come with a romex clamp, so make sure you have some on hand.

I purchased this because my shower was way too dark! It was very easy to put in, but I am a handyman, but in my opinion a novice person can install this with little issue. I wired my light into the exhaust fan, so when I turn on my fan this light comes on. I found that the easiest way since the electrical is already there. Only downside is that you can't use the dimming function, but I do not use that function since I installed it for the light not the dimmable feature. I had some 3-wire left over from a project and used that to wire this light. I wired the light before I installed it. Just made it easier and cut my time down I had to spend in the attic! Wiring is simple, just match the colors and use wire connectors. Provides a template circle to draw onto the ceiling so you can cut it out. I suggest putting a hole from inside your shower and then cutting it out from attic. This allows you to avoid 2x4 boards holding up drywall. Slide light through hole and then go in attic and push down clamps to secure. Turn off power exhaust fan and remove plate from fan that allows access to wires. Find the wires that run fan and attach dark colored wire to fan wire, white to white and the ground wire to ground. The ground wire has no plastic coating on it. reattach the wire plate and you are good to go! If you use LED bulb, you can throw insulation right on light without it getting hot and being a fire hazard which would be a problem with a halogen bulb! The description is very misleading, when searching for a bathroom LED light, this came up, when reading the details of the items it does not tell you that a bulb is included or not, as you continue to read the technical detail it stated that the bulb type is an LED. We bought two of them with the impression that these are LED. Now when we got them, installation was easy, but unfortunately no bulb was included, but you do not know till you buy them. now we have to do a quick trip to Home Depot to purchase LED bulbs to make this an actual LED can light.

Works great, easy to install, less expensive than the big box stores. I use led flood bulbs in them with good results.

First of all these lights look great. They're really easy to install and the trim piece just pushes right in. Light is great and I'm definitely going to get a dimmer to go with them. I removed 1 star because there is definitely not a template included even though the product page claims to have one. A 3 7/8" hole saw isn't very common so you'll probably be doing it free hand. I used the cardboard that the lights came in but the holes were about 3/16" too small. Also, the wire nuts they include are really only good for a single connection to 14 gauge wire. If you're going to daisy chain them I'd recommend using one size bigger than what is provided.

It's a great light fixture and was very easy to install. It doesn't come with a wire clamp for the box so you'll need that as an extra. I didn't end up using the tabs to secure it because I was right next to a joist so I removed them, which was easy, and used a #6 screw to secure it. It doesn't move and the light is plenty bright enough if you use a 50W LED which is actually 9W so it's fine to use it in this fixture rated for 35W. Very happy with it.

Very easy to install considering it’s IC rated for LED and has click to tighten feature. Bulb installation is surprisingly tricky. Needs some careful manipulation and I don’t believe all GU10 shapes will fit in…

All I needed was the lens-original got cracked. great now with led bulb because original bulbs discontinued. got my from Rona
