These plates are SO pretty and I really love the shape and how they look on the table. HOWEVER, please be aware that they are NOT MICROWAVE SAFE! They crack when you use them in a microwave. I can live with this, but they are not as advertised.

Love these plates

I’ve had a set of these dinner plates for over 4 months with very light use of only 2 out of the set of 6. Whenever I’ve used a plate, I only use the defrost button, never the cook button on my microwave. I only hand wash my plate and dry it before placing it back on the stack. I live alone and I only use the top 2 plates at any given time. Yesterday, I went to use a plate to defrost left overs and had it set to defrost for 4 minutes. I’m legally blind and heard a loud crack when I opened the microwave but didn’t find anything has been cracked or broken as I felt around the inside of my microwave. It wasn’t until I finished eating and went to wash my plate when I felt a hairline crack on the top surface of the plate that reached from and to end vertically across the plate. The crack didn’t go through to the bottom but I knew I couldn’t reuse it regardless. It’s upsetting because these are labeled as dishwasher, microwave and oven safe. So I can’t understand why or how the crack even happened. I don’t want to purchase another set of 6 since it’s just me. But I would have hoped for an option to purchase a single replacement would have been available.

I received the dishes June 20th. Within a week, one dish cracked while in the microwave. The time was set to 1.5 minutes in a 900 microwave. I contacted company for the guarantee through Amazon's site. It has been 3 days and I have yet to hear from them. Needless to say, I'm not very happy. UPDATE: The company reached out to me and they are replacing my damaged plate. Thank you for standing by your products. UPDATE #2: I received replacement for my cracked plate today. The company went above and beyond my expectations, and I am grateful. Thank you to Shaira for all your help. I have updated my stars.
