I have received the box in bad condition and when i open it 1 item was damaged.

I never write reviews but after a month of not noticing a difference, my dog no longer has tear stains. The key is consistency, once a day in all the moist areas. Honestly it took about a month and a half before noticing, but nothing else worked. The pads are very soft and thin and I just used cotton rounds when I ran out my dog has fur, not hair so I didn’t have the option of trimming down the stained fur, and eventually they’re completely gone. Definitely buying again.

Tears stained is almost gone! Using this product for almost a month now, since then the very dark brown stained turned into a lighter brown. I used it to Mochi (maltipoo breed) twice daily when I started and to get rid of it quickly and we have the positive results! We are maintaining the scattered light brown colour on her face because it looks good on her. I am using no scent baby wipes atm for her eyes and mouth as a daily clean. 🐶🐶🐶

It works but consistent cleaning is key to success. Been using this a few weeks now. Tear stains almost gone under one eye and about half gone on the other which was more heavily stained. I have literally tried everything including home remedies to get rid of my dogs tear stains. At most, it just spread the stain across his fur but never actually removed anything. This is the only product that has worked to remove the stains that my dog will let me use without a fuss. I use new mascara wands to gently brush the solution through his fur which has made the cleaning process much easier (gets deep down into the stain and lifts the fur away from his skin). I just dip a clean wand into the solution for each eye and find it works much better than the cleaning pads that come with this kit. The brush in this kit makes it easy to get the powder gently but deeply into his fur. I will definitely continue to use this product for maintenance once the tear stains are gone.

I purchased this product for my Shih Tzu on the 22nd May desperate for a product that works. Today is the 29th and the jury is still out. In order to kick start our new regime. I decided to cut the hair round the worst part near the corner of his eye to get rid of as much of the junk and crud as I could. Although I have tried nearly every product on the market - or so it seems - over the past 2 years, I have been unable to find a product which works and which he would tolerate and resulted in trying to clean with a make up sponge. I was able to clean away some of the debris but qit soon became obvious that this wasn’t enough. I changed his Diet and now give him bottled water instead of tap water, but this was still not enough. His eyes became a little better and the tearing reduced over the following few weeks but insufficient to stop the staining. Time to go expensive!!! Even though Eye Envy is expensive and has bad reviews as well as good decided to try it - after all it could only be as bad as the rest and the worst scenario was that again I had wasted my money. Having been cleaning his eyes for some time now Benji has become used to it. He did not mind my cleaning his eyes with the pad and solution and didn’t shy away from any smell of the product - which is definitely a plus - but at first was very wary of the brush so for a couple of days used my finger whilst using the brush on his head over his eyes so he would get used to it. He now allows me to use without a problem obviously not affected by any product smell. If a product has any kind of distasteful smell U cannot get near him. Having purchased. the trial pack I used the product as detailed, pouring the solution on to the pads soaking the area to clean it using a separate pad for each eye. The instructions indicated that there was sufficient products for up to a month. However, I have been cleaning twice a day to try and clear as quickly as possible, due to the size of the problem. I have just 4 pads left after one week. For there to be enough for up ti a month I would have to use one pad for both eyes once a day. Bearing in mind this is supposed ti be a one month starter pack there should be more pads in the cannister. Anyone wishing to use this pack as I have done should be aware that it will not last more than about 8/10 days. To buy the moistened pads separately at a cost of £22 could be an alternative but I could find no indication as to how many pads are in the tub or how moist they are. Although it appears to be extremely full, the powder container is not as deep as it appears so be aware thst there is not as much in as one would think. The small brush is ideal for getting into the corner of the eye, particularly if, as with the Shiah tzu, the hair grows up from the nose and not straight down. As with most other dogs. However the shape and size of the brush makes it much easier to work into the hair. At the moment there does appear to be some improvement but I am not certain of how much, if any, having cut his hair quite short in the corner. There has been a very small amount of new hair growth, which APPEARS to be lighter in colour!! As I now need further supplies the expense is going to be dramatically increased. I will update this review as time progresses. Update 14/6/2023 I have today cleaned Benjis eyes. I cannot quite understand why others have had no success over than the fact that it takes perseverance, time and effort. For me it has worked where none of the others have remotely helped. As you can see from the last photo round his eyes is now almost clear of the dark staining I have struggled with over the past 2 years and is white. With time and continual usd and care, the new hair hopefully will continue to grow white and his face stains will eventually totally disappear.. He still has staining on his face from all the previous months but I anticipate that that will be cut out gradually on his visits to the dog salon. Having used the face wash a couple of times I can see some difference and his staining is lighter. If you are reading this review I would recommend you don’t give up, it does work and once it is white it will only be necessary to use it when needed occasionally.
