Easiest suspender buttons--but must use Loctite!
These have become my go-to for adding suspender buttons to most pants. They look good on jeans, moleskin, corduroy, hunting pants, etc. I wouldn't use them for thin wool dress pants--the look wouldn't be right. These are much easier to attach then sewing on an old-school button: just jab your pants with an awl, push the screw through the hole, and screw on the button. They are also superior to the hammer-on rivet-style buttons that are often used for jeans/dungaree suspender buttons. Those are both too tall, and they can be surprisingly hard to hammer on without messing them up. However--these buttons do fall off in the wash or even on a walk (has happened to me several times), unless you dab a little Loctite on each connection. Simply get some Loctite (I recommend Loctite 243, which is better for stainless/nickel and other non-ferrous metals like these), and use a sewing needle (or a cellphone SIM card tray pin, or other thin needle: toothpick would work too) to dip in the Loctite and then swirl on the inner threads of the button. Doesn't take much. Clean off the top of the button with a rag so you don't get Loctite on your pants, then screw buttons on and wait overnight. Sounds like a lot of work? Try sewing buttons on your pants some time! This is 4x faster and lasts forever (and I do mean forever--once you've Loctite'd these, you'd have to crush/destroy the button pretty severely to get it off). If I could find a version of these that were a few mm less tall, that would be great. But these are the least tall I've found.

Easy Repair
Bought these to replace a button on a thrifted denim dress. The button was super easy to install (even with no sewing experience) and is a perfect size and color match to the existing buttons. However, the button often unscrews/pops off of the backing in the wash. It's easy enough to pop it back in but just something to look out for.

Easy to install
I making an Indiana Jones satchel and had to swap out plastic buttons for these so they look accurate. Worked like a charm with the tool they gave. Very happy with this.

Suspender everything!
I ditched my belts and got suspenders. Best style/comfort move I ever made. However, I wasn't about to sew six buttons in each of my four chinos and two jeans. Enter screw-on buttons. Get a hammer and nail and poke a hole in the button location (forget using a large needle, you need a hammer and nail, trust me). You have to wrestle the screw into it, but once the button catches, you can tighten it and it'll hold.

Come unscrewed easily
I needed some buttons for suspenders on my jeans. These look nice, and they were relatively easy to install, but they come unscrewed very easily. They come off in the washer and the dryer, and I almost lost one down my dryer lint catch. I did lose one at work. These weren't too difficult to put on, but I found the hammer on type easier and quicker to install, though using a hammer is much louder. If you buy these, I suggest adding locktite.

Actually really cool!
I needed strap buttons for a couple vintage trousers. First I was amazed to find replacement jeans buttons (work great for suspenders) in such variety, and attachment configuration. These placed in mere minutes, and the screwdriver provided actes as the 'awl" to create the right size path through the fabric for the screw post. I put in a tiny drop of threadlock when I screwed them in to ensure they do not work loose. Easy to do and dead on visual match to the other buttons on the trousers.
