Very good product. Easy to apply. No mess.
Absolutely superb. Very easy to apply and quick to dry. Very even application. I did 2 coats on sanded oak and it looks amazing. Will look even better when waxed. Lovely colour. Super value.

Great coverage, nice finish
Saw a few saying coverage was poor etc, I can only presume wood was not properly sanded and prepped as the stain is very quick to take and covers extremely well, used on reclaimed timber beam and only needed 1 coat to achieve look I wanted, I actually had to sand back a little before applying lacquer top coat (2nd pic shows finnished mantle) just to bring wood grain back a little, if you are going to use this apply quickly with small sponge and remove excess with cloth asap as instructions suggest, all in all very happy with this exceeded my expectations and a little goes a long way, clean up is super easy as it's water based so no need for white spirit just a bit of water and dish soap. Will definitely be buying other colours in future for any other projects I have.

Lots of product in a small bottle.
Used this to paint a 2mm plywood base to hold a layer of epoxy resin in a cup holder I made for the car. Thought I'd need another bottle at first glance as bottle was small but nope, this goes a VERY long way. Only ended up using a little bit out of it. 2 coats and leaves a lovely natural finish. If you want full coverage that would take a lot more. Easy to work with too. Great product and decent price. Would recommend!

Very red tones.
The batch I received, of English leather, has very red tones, not as expected. The picture of the wood samples are less red and more warm brown.

Just as shown on website
Good product, used to stain skirting grey, but still show wood grain. End result looking good, but did finish with a clear protection coat as in a shower room.

Good for a small staining job
Just the small amount I wanted for a handrail and worked well

Easy to apply and allows the grain to show through.
First I would say that this is a very turquoise colour, not the more green I was expecting, but that's maybe just my fault for not looking close enough at the colour chart. I've since had to order the brooklands green, which is an expensive mistake on my part. That said, the product does what it says on the tin, goes on easily and dries quite quickly. After a couple of coats of water based clear satin varnish it looks well. The choice of colours in the range is good for anyone into crafts and wanting brightly coloured wood finishes.
