This is perfect for anyone. The size isn't big but isn't too small either. Perfect for traveling and playing at home. The magnetic pieces are strong enough to hold on upside down but not so strong that it's hard to move the pieces around. this really is close to perfect for an easy, affordable travel set. Great quality pieces, durability, size, pouch for storing pieces. It all fits together so well. The kids and I love it, and since it's so portable, I get them to play more often, and they're often surprised on road trips that this board is magically available whenever they suddenly want to play! Pieces stay put, even when bumped, tipped, or shaken. The pieces are pretty, and the set is nice enough to give as a gift. Not cheap looking. Velvet bag to keep them is a great bonus, Great for on the go. The latch to keep it closed is tight, so it won’t pop open when you don’t want it to.

This chess set was Def worth every penny. I love the fact it’s magnetic which makes it’s a lot harder to lose the pieces , also it’s the perfect size to take with you on the go or just keep it at home and olay on your bed or something.It’s also nice to see my daughter interested in a game that’s on a platform and has wires connected to It lol. Might just have to buy some more when Christmas time rolls around.

I love chess and wanted to get a set I can easily store on a shelf without it taking up most of the shelf leaving me to put things on top of it and when I’d go to grab I’d have to move whatever was on top of it. For the price and convince its a great deal. I’m surprised the magnetic feature worked so well too! I’ve taken it to the beach and even in the winds it was fine and the pieces stayed in place! Great
