The Fiber Optic Cleaner is portable and easy to use. This item was purchased as a backup tool for one that we already own. This cleaner is very similar in design to the one that we own and works as expected. The compact design makes the cleaner portable. The price is at least $20 cheaper than we were quoted at a local parts store.

I got one of these free with registration of a corning UniCam tool. I don't know how we ever got by without them. I turned around and ordered one for every tech in the shop from amazon. A side note got a quote from Fluke and they wanted to charge us 5 times the price for the same tool.

This product is the best we have found for the routine cleaning of bulkhead connectors and cable ends. We use this product in a test lab, and checking optical power is a routine thing we do hundreds of times a day. This product is simple to use and fast, which is important. We very rarely have to break out the wet cleaning swabs anymore. I just wish it was a bit cheaper. I highly recommend this product.

A sales tech for Corning told me about these dry optic cleaners so I got it right away and have never looked back! So easy and no messing around with alcohol (at least for quick cleaning). They are pretty pricey but everything involved with fiber optics is.

I use this for mobile production trucks to clean fiber optic cable. It has worked very well until today. The connector cap at the top seems to have popped off and it is lost. Kind of useless at this point. It’d be nice if you can order replacements. I’ve only been using it solidly for about five months
