Gridmann 4 inch Caster Wheel Set For Commercial Kitchen Prep Tables, 2 Wheels with Brakes, 2 without Brakes : desertcart.in: Industrial & Scientific Review: I'd gotten my 2 x 2 stainless steel table maybe a year ago and I loved its utility and look. But I knew it would be infinitely more useful if it was more mobile and perhaps a little bit higher. Industrial sized wheels would kill both birds with one stone, but I was unsure how to size the wheels and I didn't see any listed in reference to the table I bought on desertcart. Last week I decided to be more proactive and looked at similar size tables on desertcart and sure enough I found these. I made a few measurements and when I felt sure they might fit I ordered them. When I opened the box, the wheels were in a word impressive. Strong, large and industrial strength looking with two of the wheels having locking mechanisms. I had to simply pull out the leveling plastic leg inserts and drop these wheels in place. The fit was good but I preferred something just a tad more snug. so I got 4 appropriately sized rubber bands from my office supplies and wrapped one around each wheel stem before reinserting them in the leg. That tiny bit extra girth was perfect to snug the fit up. The table now seems like the perfect height. I keep it adjacent to my small kitchen so when I bring home groceries and the counter might be occupied, the bags go on that table. I can now wheel the table next to my counter top when I'm cooking for extra work area. And I can wheel it in the center of the kitchen to act as a mini island. Or I steer it butt against one side of my double farmhouse sink, to use as a surface as I wash dishes and pots and have another work surface. I just did a thorough cleaning of a toaster oven by stripping it down to its frame. I used the table as a revolving work bench to access the oven at all corners and angles. It worked amazingly well. I frankly wasn't using the table before except to pile clutter on. The wheels and ability to position and move it according to my needs made all the difference. Two of the wheels have press down locking mechanisms to avoid roam and keep it in place. These wheels aren't bargain basement, but as in most things, you get what you pay for. An absolute 5 star rating if you're looking for an industrial grade set of wheels. It transformed my use of a now, extremely useful mobile work surface and table. Review: Too bad I couldn’t chose ZERO stars. The product didn’t work. The wheels that had the locks on them didn’t hold. Contacted the seller for a return, and what they offered was a joke. 19% restocking fee and i need to cover shipping. Ridiculous. Save yourself the hassle and order elsewhere. Worst interaction BY FAR since I’ve been shopping on desertcart. These people should be a shamed. Be warned… ORDER ELSEWHERE!

Great casters however, not all insides are created equal. They were clear on what legs it would fit inside and I thought I was ok. That being said I had to go to a local caster & wheel company to get slightly smaller inserts, inexpensive purchase. They fit and worked perfect for my application which was an upcycle of a vintage bakers table into a movable bar with drawer fronts added for texture. Super duper heavy now and it rolls great on hard stable surfaces. 6/20/25 update: unfortunately these wheels have not held up, and with only limited use. The rubber has started breaking and falling off and that has affected 2 wheels so far. This bar has only been moved 7 times. At this point I’ll need to replace all 4. To be fair, these wheels are on a VERY heavy vintage bakers table that has been skinned out with 3/4” plywood and drawer fronts. She stays in a storage locker and travels in a trailer for use as a bar, dessert auction, or lately as a giant charcuterie table, I’ll be replacing with a local caster company to make sure I either get higher quality, or more appropriate wheels for this application.

Very solid. Easy to roll. One of the locking wheels was defective, so had to send all of them back, but will purchase another for us. I’m hoping it’s a one off. Easy to install and remove. Wheels are hard rubber rather than plastic which makes it more quiet and feel more solid.

These are well made and easy to install. The locking mechanism is easy to work with the toe of your shoe, and holds pretty well. They roll and swivel smoothly. Be aware that they do raise whatever you installed them on a good bit, appropriately 4 inches.
