LOVE this item!!!
Love, Love, Love this item!!!! Using as a backsplash in kitchen! So many people have complimented me on it. Of course, we get the jokes about it looking like popsicle sticks instead of real wood, but the colors are perfect and changed the kitchen with just a little effort. So far, after 3 months, it's holding up wonderfully. Love it!!!!

Beautiful!
We used this paper to cover the visible black side of our new stainless steel refrigerator. I can't get over how fantastic it looks! It's bright, pretty and definitely unique. I originally planned to run the pattern vertically but my husband suggested going horizintally and I think he was right. One roll was not quite enough; we ran out about 8" from the bottom and ordered another roll (and it's a small-ish refrigerator ). The paper is pretty forgiving but installation was still easier with two people. I'm thrilled with the results.

This stuff is awesome! The rolls don't hold a lot, but the product is exactly what I wanted. It's goes on easily, can even be pulled back and reapplied to straighten, and looks great. It's easy to clean. I couldn't be happier with it.

Love it!
This is a great product! I only wish the rolls came with more contact paper. It took nearly three rolls to cover this small accent wall. The product is solid. Went on easily, and sticks well. I only I wish it wasn't so pricey per roll. But in this case, you most definitely get what you pay for.

Really Good Paper!
This is the easier paper to work with. Better than the ConTac brand. I used it to make some awesome looking stairs!

Such a cool thing!
I used this to cover some studs inside a wall that we opened up to make a linen closet. We fit shelves in between the studs. The problem was that the studs were extremely rough and splintery. Sanding them would have been a very tedious job with all those awkward angles inside a tight space.Instead I covered the studs with this awesome trompe l'oeil paper, which makes the inside of the closet look rather arty, if I do say so myself. The best way I can describe it is that it looks like I pieced together a bunch of colorful, yet old and weathered popsicle sticks that washed up on a beach. And of course, now they are smooth to the touch and won't tear up your skin.It was fairly fun and easy to do. The paper sticks like a champ to the rough surface, covering up all sins, and was fairly forgiving when I needed to pull it off and stick it back a few times. It also tolerated a little bit of stretching around some uneven parts.I did get a few wrinkles in it, but hey, it's the inside of a closet, so I wasn't going for absolute perfection. I'm very happy that this product exists. It fit the need in a whimsical way.

Some surfaces are easier than others
So I agree with most everything the other reviewers have posted so I will focus on what might be new information. I first covered my wooden desk top and a cabinet top. Both jobs were super easy with ZERO air bubbles! It was flawless. We then moved on to two metal file cabinets. These were not so easy. I think because they are metal and are not hard under the paper air bubbles happen much easier. We have to leave many air bubbles on the file cabinets. You can easily "pop" them with a sharp blade to release the air and this pattern is forgiving so you don't see them but it was a pain. Also, be mindful of corners and cut outs. For the file cabinets locks I found that nickel was the right size so I cut the paper out like a nickel and then placed it around the lock. (see pics) I then would use a second piece to finish the lock. It doesn't look great up close but it works. Overall I would certainly buy this paper again but I do think the surface you are covering will change your experience with the ease of this paper hence my 4 star rating instead of 5.

Looks good and it's so easy to use.
After clearing out my daughter's room I discovered her bedside cabinet had been ruined by what I assume is nail varnish remover. It was a real mess and so I put the cabinet in the dump pile but it seemed a shame since the rest of it was good.I knew painting wouldn't work so I looked around and this seemed the best option, the reviews were good so my decision was made.I liked this print immediately and decided I'd have a go, the thing that worried me the most was the corners but they've actually come out pretty well.It was easier to use than I expected, I opened the roll and left it for a few days to straighten but ultimately I don't really think that mattered. It was actually quite forgiving while I was applying I had to pull it back a few times and there was no problems. To make the cabinet work in the room I'm covering a couple of photo frames and I'm also going to buy a cheap blank canvas to cover as well but I'm so happy with it so far. When it first arrived and I rolled it out I noticed all the bumps where it looked as if it had been rolled too tightly but it wasn't a problem when applying they just smoothed right out.

I was expecting it to look 'just ok' but actually I'm really pleased with the results
Used to revamp some old wardrobes (the awful wood veneer type) for a play room.I was expecting it to look 'just ok' but actually I'm really pleased with the results! It went on easily, holds well but can be peeled back and adjusted if you get it wrong. It's really a really nice design and a few people have commented that they thought it was real wood.Just be mindful of where your wrists and finger are when you're peeling away the backing, the edges are like razor blades. The paper cuts I got from this were viscious!

Love the pattern and finished result
My first time using sticky back plastic and I was a bit worried! We covered a mini fridge - the sides and top at least, we decided the door was too tricky and just cut out a heart shape to go on the front to tie it all in. Application was not super easy, I won't lie, but with persistance we got there ok. Took a little while to smooth out any left over bubbles and neaten up edges. The final result though is great and i'm really pleased with how it looks. I think there's probably a bit of a knack, or at least a fair bit of practice, to doing an really good job but thats more down to lack of skills than any fault with the produt!

OK overall
Looks great and was fairly easy to use. Stickiness was great as I had to peel it back and correct the position a few times and it held it stick.Quite thick so would need to use the hairdryer trick to soften it up on sharper corners etc. for better precision.Did see it slightly cheaper elsewhere though after purchase but not by much

Easy to use and good pattern.
Really loved this product! The pattern is a faded colour wash board fence and it looks really good on my caravan cupboard door. It was reasonably easy to apply even for a complete novice like me. The pattern lends itself to patching up little bits where the cut is not accurate. It's easy to remove and start again as well if you make a mistake or can't get the creases out first time. The reverse side is a very handy grid with real measurements so you can cut the correct sized pieces before applying. It's been up in the caravan a few weeks now and still looking good!
