TOTALLY SILENT!!! Blown away how quiet this thing is, previously had a cat mate fountain that was noisy, hard to clean, and was a lot of work to maintain. Every time that one got low on water you would hear the pump growling even if the pump was still submerged, the Veken model is completely silent. 12 inches away from it and i can't even hear the pump, i can hear the trickling water noise ever so lightly, but get a few feet away and you can't even hear that in a quiet room. Time will tell how it holds up but it looks easy to clean compared to others i have tried, the prefilter on the pump is a nice addition to keep anything out of the pump, the top return filter looks like a good flow through design and it comes with two pump prefilters and two top filters in the package, i feel like you could skip the upper filter if you wanted to as long as you cleaned it regularly, my previous cat fountain the filters were a real pain and restricted waterflow after a couple days. The anti skid mat to go under it that is also included was a nice touch. And the fact that it uses a standard USB power adapter means if you have a outlet with a USB output you wouldn't even need the included power adapter, or if the power adapter fails its not a special unit that is hard to replace. Could even be run for a long time off a power bank during a power outage or as portable use etc. I went with the clear version as some reviews mentioned its a lot easier to see the water level and i can see how that is a benefit over the others. So far great product that made the cats curious to check it out, which is good as it encourages drinking.

Easy to install and works well. It’s plug in soooo ít works all the time. You can hear the water fountain running but the noise isn’t that bad.

This fountain worked great until I put it in my dishwasher on sanitize. It got warped and the pieces no longer fit together. Definitely got my cats to drink more water. Very quiet and easy to clean. Loved it so much I upgraded to the metal version

This is a very cute fountain. My cat loves it, and I like that she has running water rather than a standing bowl. The power cable ends in a USB, but it does come with a wall adapter. It comes with a little rubber mat to set it on and that keeps it from moving around. It runs very quietly and if not actively listening for it I would not hear it over day-to-day life. When it gets close to being empty it does get louder though it is more of hearing the water flowing than the pump. The inside light is pretty powerful for its size. I like that the light can be turned on and off with the clicker on the power cable close to where it plugs in. I only use it to check the water level every day. I only have 1 cat, so I only need to do a refill every couple of days, and I dump and clean it once a week. It is very easy to take apart, clean and put back together. The only problem I have is that it comes with 2 filters to start and I am having issues trying to find replacements, so I am using filtered water for now.

My cat absolutely loves this water fountain. Since switching to it, she has been drinking noticeably more water, which makes me feel so much better. I also love knowing that the water is constantly being filtered, and it is nice that replacement filters are easy to find and purchase. Cleaning is very straightforward. I clean it about twice a week and it is much easier than dealing with a regular water bowl. I put the removable pieces, except for the filters, in the top rack of the dishwasher and hand wash the pump with the included wire. I also really like that it is easy to carry to the sink without water sloshing everywhere. The fountain has a blue light, and I do not really see a functional purpose for it, but you can turn it off if you prefer, which I appreciate. Another feature I like is that you can easily see the current water level, so you always know when it needs to be refilled. The top is metal, which was important to me. My cat previously got cat acne from using plastic bowls, so we switched to ceramic and metal, and we have not had any issues since making that change. Overall, this fountain has been a great purchase and both my cat and I are very happy with it. I would definitely recommend it.

My cat loves this thing. We used to have a bowl with water and she’d barely drink from it. So, I decided to get this thing for her and she instantly started drinking WAYYY more water than before! And I’m really glad too! I love this thing. It’s compact, it’s cute, and best of all, it has a light mode too! You can toggle the light on and off as you please, but I keep the light on for ease of reading the water level! Perfect night light too! No batteries, just plug it in to a socket and you’re chillin. Really easy to clean both the tub AND the water pump. Filters are easy to clean/replace. It’s amazing. It’s still going strong so I think it’s fairly durable. After a while though, there’s this white residue that’s really hard to scrub off with a sponge. I use my nail to clean it but it seems like it doesn’t want to go away. Maybe its the plastic? I’m not sure but it’s nothing worry about. It doesn’t affect how much my cat drinks or how well the fountain works. Just a weird visual thing that goes on with the blue plastic part. Amazing product though, and definitely worth the money! P.S, after a while you’ll start to hear “humming” coming from the water pump. If you hear this, that means the water level is getting low and you should add more water. Then the humming stops. However if you have one cat only, once you hear the humming you should probably clean the whole thing, water pump and all, and put in fresh new water.

Bought this in 2022 and it lasted until 2024, and only recently started using it again a month ago for another kitty. Both cats enjoyed drinking from it! The pump was still working, but was starting to get a little louder the last couple weeks. However, my complaint is the motor has so many pieces that come apart that I didn't even know came apart for a couple years. And even last week I found *another* piece that can come out. When I bought it, there wasn't a video on how to clean it, and the instructions didn't mention that when *fully* taken apart you should have 4 pieces (the face plate where the lightbulb is, the motor, the motor *fan*, and the part that holds the sponge. Because of this, there was a buildup of pink slime mold (a type of bacteria, actually). No matter how many times I scrub it down (I've used vinegar before too), it still keeps appearing. There are so many little cracks and places for the slime to nestle in that are near impossible to get it all out, so the slime mold will just come back. Cleaned it well a week ago and when I checked today there was more, in the basin, the pump, and even some on the filter (which I had just replaced) Decided to just throw away the dang thing. Might buy their stainless steel one next, because the kitty likes the flower design, and I hear it's more sanitary than plastic. Plus now that I know how the motor comes apart, it should be easier to take care of and keep pink slime free. The picture I'm posting is all the pieces of the pump. If you know what to do (unlike I did when I first got it), it should be alright though. I, personally, am just a little wary about cleaning pumps now

This bowl is amazing. It encourages my cats to drink more, it is very quiet. It is easy to take apart and assemble and clean. It is very straight forward, it comes with a second filter for both the motor and the water itself. It also came with the cute blue mat you see for stability. It is true to what it claims. Highly recommend this product for anyone with a small dog or cats! It's engaging for my pets and they were extremely excited about it's presence.
