I'm a welder for an energy producer. There are times when we have NOTHING to do and we have to stay on the jobsite so we can get paid. I have a designated hard plastic chair - I'm sure it's been around longer than I've been alive. I grew tired of the uncomfortable aches/pains from prolonged sitting. My whole back would tighten up, my bottom was sore and the back of my thighs hurt. I just couldn't get comfortable. ☆I made a conscious purchase ☆ This items is squishy and folded into 4 so I can carry it in my work backpack. I was worried for a sec that it wouldn't fit in my bag but was very much surprised. I didn't have to parade it into the building. Its a good size. The thickness is so comfortable that I don't feel the usual pressure on my backend. As soon as I took a seat the back of my thighs were cradled, bottom was happy that I didn't have to sit side saddled. My tailbone is not on fire and my back isn't screaming "we need to stand up for a while!" Everything that hurt is being supported by this cushion. Definitely noticed the small height - about an inch+ from sitting on bare seat. Im very pleased with this purchase and it's earned a permanent spot in my locker at the end of every shift. Treasured item as I no longer fear getting hemorrhoids from prolonged sitting. Its my squishy and im going to keep it safe.

Perfect for when you have to sit for a long time. Great quality. Good value for the money. I recently had a knee replacement and I tend to sit a lot in between PT sessions. This gel pad makes it much more comfortable and saves my rear the wear. We had something like this for my dad when he was wheelchair-bound. It’s really important to take care of your physical body when you are restricted from moving about freely.

Its fairly thin. And squishes down even thinner. Its comfortable though for the money

I have a bruised tailbone and have bought countless cushions for relief. The gel inside conforms to my tailbone and provides extra comfort. I bought a second one to have one for home and one for taking with me. The cover is nice material also with a non-slick side. Recommend for sure.

I was sitting in bed to sleep for health reasons & sat on the cushion. It was pretty comfortable & I was glad I had something to prevent bed sores as I was in one position most of the night. Sometimes I'd slide down the bed. (The non-slide feature didn't work that well for me in bed with risers at the head). That may have put tension weight on the honeycomb structure of the gel inside. Now 6 months later I felt it.a bit uncomfortable & opened the cover to see a line of the honeycombs has torn & one or 2 other cells are coming apart. I checked with Google search & got the email of the customer service to claim warranty but it doesn't cover normal wear & tear & I'd prob. need to pay the return shipping. The cushion is quite heavy so shipping wouldn't be cheap. So I'm saving my time & writing it off. For most users it would probably last longer, just be aware it will tear if it gets stretched under weight. This works great to keep your leg elevated. When you have surgery on an ankle or a foot makes it so much more comfortable and keeps the swelling down.

Great item highly recommend the gel cushion over the memory foam. They used it on a wheelchair while I was rehabbing until I was able to walk again It made a major difference because sitting in a wheelchair was not comfortable. I now use it in my car

Okay now this has been a lifesaver this is an excellent product wonderful cushion could be a little bigger but I suppose I'm you know what I'm tired of that mentality yes I can complain it should be a little bit bigger and you know what I'm changing from five stars to four stars make it bigger. The other models on the market yeah they're even smaller I'm tired of us getting less and being told to accept that because it's just how it is. No this thing is $30 and all it took was a mold and some material you could give me just a slightly larger cushion for $30. All right with that rant out of the way yes it makes the seat far more comfortable. It doesn't cover the entire area of the seat so it has a tendency to move around a bit the case that comes with it has what appears to be rubberized dots on the bottom but they do very little to keep the cushion in place. It's very functional it's well designed and it makes sitting more comfortable. Make it a little bigger and I'd be a happy human.

I use this pad in my car. It helps the discomfort I have in my hip.
