Finally took the plunge and tried the haled Dynabrade. At first I though I made a mistake. I tried using 100 grit with this and nothing happended. I found out this is a finish snader for use with 150 or finer grit paper. This is the 3/32" orbit, middle one. WOW, put some 150-220 on this and you will be amazed at how fast you get it so smooth. Very easy to handle, very light, very comfortable. We finished some table tops with it and held them to the light and could not believe our eyes. I have never gotten a finer finish with my electric RO sanders like this and never this quick. I am now buying the 3/8 orbit sander for the aggresive sander, cant wait to try it. Takes a ton of air! I have a 16CFM IR large 2 stage compressor to run this and it runs almost constantly, but it does keep up pretty good.

My husband and son paint cars for a living at a shop. This sander is used on a daily basis and gets plenty of wear and tear. On average with the hours a day they use it the sander lasts about 6 years. They will not buy any other sander-this is their favorite!!!!

Hi I finish carbon fiber gun stalks for a living and have used about 30 different orbitals and this one takes the cake. The motor is Silky Smooth and also quiet. You can't go wrong with this sander even at its price. I must say I haven't tried the 3M extract which is next on the list if this one ever fails

I mistakenly bought another brand when my 10 year old dynabrade died. Killed it in 3 months. I just used the new one for the last two days and there is nothing even comparable to this dream machine! I have been professionally fabricating and painting 30+years wood; metal, composites, ect. There is no better than dynabrade!

I have been using an electric porter cable random orbital sander to prepare my 1979 corvette that I have owned for 30 years for new paint. The porter cable that I have owned for over 10 years works very good but it is heavy and my arms eventually cant hold the tool.Although retired I am in very good physical shape.A retired friend who owned a body shop told me to get an air operated orbital or DA sander.Since I own a 5 hp 60 gallon single stage air compressor that supplies (10 CFM at 90 PSI.I Google the reviews and forums to see what every body had to say about different air operated orbital and DA sanders.I settled on this Dynabrade 59028 6 inch.I decided to buy the vacuum type just in case I ever need it in a situation where I want the dust vacuumed.I have been using this tool almost every day now for about 3 weeks and I couldnt be more pleased. It is light weight, my arms never get tired, the noise is what can be expected for an air tool but definitely less than most and I find the air usage fairly low.I have no complaints. The electric sander is sitting alone on the shelf wondering "what did I do wrong". Always remember to read the paperwork/owners guide to take care of your tool and make it last.I have tools that I bought 20 and 30 years ago.Thank you for reading. JD
