It works!
I thought it would be a little thicker based on the reviews, but it's working in our cantilever umbrella. Only time will tell, how long though. I am satisfied with my purchase.

Just like Original Cord
This cord looked just like the original. I had earlier tried to repair my umbrella with a paracord type nylon string which was the wrong choice - that one only last a couple of months. It's only been a month on this new one so I can't attest to its longevity, but I feel like this is the correct replacement cord for the job.

Did the trick.
Worked as expected. My umbrella has twist tilt so feeding the cord is challenging but got it done.

You can do it
I thought when my umbrella would go up by turning the handle that I would have to throw it away, but I managed to rechord it all on my own. I used an old coathanger and a YouTube video and now i have a "new" umbrella rather than having to buy another.

Really thin rope
This rope would not lift a child's umbrella, let alone a 10 foot umbrella. Went to North 40 and got the sturdiness that I needed - at a smaller price and with 4 time more rope.

I can rely of good products to make my life easier.
I have a very good and sturdy umbrella. The new string (rope) will help us continue ti enjoy the umbrella fir many more years

Good Cord
Worked as expected but I wasted about half because I measured the first lenght with the umbrella opened about half way. (The longest cord needed is when the umbrella is full closed so I couldn't close it all the way. Duh!).

Overpriced
It did the job but it is just paracord. Other vendors have paracord for sale at a far lower price.
