Color is more purple
I was excited to find a healthier dye to use for my kids’ birthday cupcakes. I was hoping that this would be blue, but it was more purple.

Good but expensive
I bought this natural color to bake Red Velvet Cake for Christmas. My Grandkids are restricted from artificial food colors. This worked fine. Cake was NOT as red as with artificial color, but OK, acceptable color. Tasted Fine. The only down side I see with this color is the $$. At over $10. and ounce, the 2 0z required for the recipe makes it too expensive to use very often.
