Great knife with an upgraded steel.
Excellent knife! Ganzo continues to innovate and listen to customers. The D2 steel in this version is excellent holds a good edge and the Axis style lock is perfect. The knife is tough enough to be a budget SERE folder along the lines of Al Mar's and Col.Nick Rowe's original version just a bit more pocket friendly, and it's $25.00 !

Excellent midsize knife!!
Solid construction with assist opening. The real magic is the D2 blade. This is much harder than regular stainless steel and suitable for saltwater exposure. The finish does not tarnish in anyway.Buy two of these and if you lose one, it’s not a big deal. That’s my philosophy over buying a high-end knife and being afraid to lose it.

Best knife for the money I’ve seen.
Just got this knife today and my first impression is WOW. Hard to believe it’s $25. Sturdy with great locking system. Shaving sharp right out the box. I put my leather belt strop on it and now it’s scary sharp. The clockwork on it seems top notch and I love the texture. This will make a great working knife that won’t make you cry when you lose it like I have with several benchmade knives. If this had the benchmade name on it I’d give it 4 stars only because it’s a little heavier than I like my knives but for the price it’s 5+ stars this will be my EDC until it gives me a reason to do otherwise.

Doubt you can find a higher quality knife for $25
I own about 5 different Ganzo/Firebird knives and they're all very good. I think this one may become my new favorite. I also think it's probably the best quality knife you'll find anywhere for $25. An Axis lock, D2 blade, G10 scales, ball bearings, excellent design and well assembled fit and finish for under $30? You won't be disappointed.

Nice beater
Well built. A tank feel to it. Good flipping action. Dull blade and so far not easy to sharpen. If I can get and maintain a nice edge I'd give it a solid 4

Hard to beat for the price
Like the cross bar lock, D2, (NO 440c HERE) A little harder to sharpen but good edge retention and the craftsmanship shows. Just remember to hold your fingers clear of the blade when letting gravity close it.

Cheap product
Blade too thick, dulls easily.
