works great
I have hard water so i buy 2 of these a year. I wish there was a filter so i could just clean that and not keep replacing. I tried putting a piece of Netting (IE: My wifes old pantyhose) and that worked for a while, but i think that it ended up burning up the old pump. No complaints on the pump, just recommending a filter option. this is the best ATO pump for the money that i have found.

Junk
Does not pull water on its own. I have to suck on the hose like a straw to get it started. Once the flow stops, it won't start again. It's less work and more sanitary to top off my fish tank with a bucket of water. Not happy with this at all.

You need this if you have a saltwater fishtank.
This is my 4th ATO system and probably my last. No more overfilling due to siphoning which all others did and you can charge the pump without the whole system which is very cost saving. You can't get any better without spending big bucks. I trust my $3000 hobby to this one piece of equipment.

Works but could be better
I have been using now for a few months and can say it does work.... but it can be very finicky and if the water level in the storage container is slightly under half the system will shut off and chime.

Ordered April 5th
Ordered April 5th, by June 22nd, the pump had stopped suctioning water on its own.
