So incredibly bad
This was the most awfully written book with zero plot and no classic story telling structure to it. There was never a climax or resolution. It read like a shitty bibliography. The sentence structure was so weak that it was very easy to speed thru and the only reason I finished it was because I felt like it would have been insulting to my intelligence to not have finished such a simple book. By the last couple of pages the editor seemed to have also given up on reading it because there were so many grammatical & spelling mistakes. The title in no way reflects the "story". I figured the character would have some actual life hurdles to go thru, but no. Seriously, don't waste the 45 minutes of your life reading this.

Fun and fast read
Fun and fast read. First book I’ve read by a Miranda Oh. I look forward to reading on in this series and getting to know the characters even more.

Wanted more
I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. I got copy of this book from the author. I just love the name of the book. It is a quick and easy read. I read it all in one setting. This book is about a young Canadian woman coming into herself and love. I liked the characters, but there were parts that need a little work. There was some information that did not need t o be there. There were some places that I thought were funny. This is the first book in a series. I have a feeling they are going to grow in me.

Dont. Just dont even start it.
The prologue had nothing to do with the actual story. The story was a dead end. I kept reading only to find out the point that it would make sense with the prologue, but that never did happen. The characters were not realistic at ALL, and their problems were their own making and exasperating. Seriously roll your eyes at how stupid they were making the same wrong decision over and over. How can you root for a character that never makes a good or sound life choice? Even when it's made clear that she has role models who have made good choices in their lives and even they are portrayed to enable the main characters poor choices. It was overall not relatable. And o don't mean a flawed character either...no one is perfect, but this character didn't just have a flaw she made the same bad decisions over and over expecting life to magically work out this time. Completely unrealistic and not very entertaining. The whole book I kept rooting for her to FINALLY grow up and make a mature good decision, to see the pattern she had created in her life, and to grow as a person. Nope never happened. Not. At. All. So the ending just left her in the stew of her poor decisions with no true final ending. Again, it was stupid.

I finished this book and thought, What? !
I hated this book. It was not funny or romantic. The language was crude at times. There was very little dialog. It was a girl talking about the immigration problems of getting her boyfriend from South Africa to Canada. At the beginning of the book she is having a panic attack and going on date. Then she goes back to explain the reasons why she's so nervous...all the boyfriend immigration stuff...then they get the news he has been accepted. The end. It never goes back to finish telling the date story. At the end of the book they're married. But it doesn't explain why she's freaking out at the beginning. I don't know! Has part of the book not downloaded? Was this just a sample? Ugh. Don't waste your time.

Leaves you begging for more
Read in a single sitting and left me hoping she releases her next book soon, because I'm dying to know what happens to Hadley and Riian next! This book made me laugh, hard! She's the Sandra Bullock of romantic comedy fiction.
