I tried this protein trying to gain some weight. The taste was OK, but nothing to write home about. I mixed in about half a teaspoon of instant hot cocoa mix and milk, and it improved the taste, kind of like a milk shake. But hey, this is not a flavor drink, it's a protein drink, and I don't want a lot of sugar and calories. I never did gain any weight, but it was not advertised to gain weight. It was for 20 servings, and I got about 27 servings. Maybe I didn't fill the scoop every time. I didn't see the scoop at first, but digging down I found it in the powder.

Have been using this product for many years. Love that it does not contain sugar or sugar substitutes. I use it with almond milk, frozen fruit (bananas, cherries, berries), peanut butter, frozen spinach, and flax meal for a breakfast or dessert shake. So delicious. Frozen bananas provide enough sweetness so that nothing else needs to be added, although honey or maple syrup could always be added if you like a sweeter shake.

I have been drinking Orgain smoothies for quite a while--I add my collagen powder, fruit, veggies, herbs, yogurt, whatever. I'd been using the one with artificial sweeteners and just do not like the added artificial sweetener so was happy to find this unsweetened unflavored one. That's the best part: no added sugar. And just as great: no added flavor. I want to add my own flavor, or any sweetness (like a banana) on my own. I used a smoothie maker and it mixed very well but this one has a slight grainy texture. I didn't mind so much though, as it wasn't sickenly sweet or some flavor I don't care for. However, while the artificial sweetened and flavored ones are about $.88 an ounce, this one is about $1.11 an ounce. Why? When less is actually added to the product--not only did they not add flavor, or sweetener, but more annoying is that it has fewer ingredients. I feel a bit cheated in that area. If you are going to add fewer ingredients, then don't charge me more for it. Not Cool Orgain. Other than that, it's a good product.

Good flavor , good amount of protein.

I tried the unsweetened, unflavored powder. It's fine with lots of fruit. While there's no added flavor, it certainly has its own flavor and isn't something that seamlessly integrates into meals. I tried it in a tomato soup to up the protein content, and all I could taste was the protein powder. I hoped to use it in baked goods but I'm concerned it would ruin them.

Have used for years and love it. The auto-ship is a great options as I would always forget to order when getting low. No taste like it claims and adds well to my morning smoothies. Great ingredients and blends perfectly. I don't even know it is in my smoothie - only know it is there because I am full all morning long.

This mixes well in my Nutribullet smoothies. There's no taste, but I do detect a slight grainy texture. My only issue (hence only 3 stars) is that they don't provide a scoop! Their "Suggested Use" say "mix 2 scoops in 12 oz of . . ." (choice of liquid). The stated Serving Size is 2 scoops (36g). Conversion of 36 grams is 1.28 oz., which is roughly 1T + 1tsp (1.333 oz). This math measures up to the approximately 20 serving per container. It would be so much more convenient to have a single scoop to use verses two measuring spoons. Just sayin"!

I like the taste of the unflavoured (not meant as a joke, it tastes different compared to other unflavoured...) Container is huge and not even half full. Very disappointing and unnecessary waste of plastic packaging. On an organic product.
