After much debate I bought these to help improve my freestyle stroke. The paddles are well made from strong durable plastic, with small vents to allow some water through so that they don’t cause too much strain on the shoulders and joints. The paddles are easy to attach to the hands with the silicone straps which can be adjusted to ensure a perfect fit so they aren’t too tight. The paddles themselves are slightly curved to catch the water in the palm area of the hands and mimic the normal position of the hand in the water. I have found the paddles comfortable to use and they have helped me ensure my hand position on entry into the water is good, and then as I can feel the water throughout the stroke, I have been able to make small changes to my arm position to get a more powerful and efficient pull. The paddles aren’t over large and are just slightly bigger than my hands, which I find perfect (I have medium/large size hands). It is advised to use the paddles only for a short duration during swimming sessions to avoid the risk of injuries from the increased resistance they create. These paddles are good value for money and should last a long time if used properly.

Elles obligent à attaquer l'eau en respectant le bon angle d'entrée, et cela d'une façon systématique. Le geste s'améliore, mais par contre, ça tire sur les bras et les épaules du fait de la plus grande surface d'appui. Le premier soir, on le ressent vraiment! L'enfilage de ces pagaies de main est facile. Le majeur dans l'anneau pour qu'elle reste bien centrée, et les autres doigts sous les élastiques de chaque coté. Les élastiques serrent un peu, mais une fois dans l'eau, se font oubliés par l'effort et la concentration à fournir. La taille est unique donc aucun souci à ce niveau. La conception est simple mais bien étudiée.La main repose bien et les écoulements bien placés. La housse dans laquelle elles sont livrées est réutilisable, ce qui permet de les garder ensemble. Elles sont résistantes et la forme fait que la main repose parfaitement dessus. Pas de doute, elles font travailler... je recommande à tous les amateurs de crawl.
