Aluminum is kind of a personal choice for one of these. I had a plastic one and I replaced it with this when it went bad. Personally, I like the plastic better. But this is strong and effective. It seems to clean up well.

Love this. Had an idea to use it as a propeller on my small inflatable dingy and it works like a charm, was motoring around the lake, trolling fish, and had everyone laughing at the sillyness. It's probably good for mixing paint but I wouldn't know, either way, excellent outboard motor. 🤙
