Great hat! Love it!

I used to buy straw hats of the same shape -- looked great on me -- but smash a straw hat once and I needed a new hat. This one is made of nicely treated, heavy duty, resilient leather. It comes with a surprisingly small cloth carrying bag for travel folded up, but as the instructions say, it's designed to store laying flat on a table or shelf to keep its shape. So that's what I do. I've had it for weeks, but it feels like it's going to last for decades, as long as I grease it properly every now and then -- every year or two? like a baseball glove or leather boots -- to keep it supple and water-resistant. Every man in my family looks good in a different style of hat. This one is my style. If this is your style, you'll love it too.

arrived quickly in excellent condition. It is close to a 5 star but a couple of minor points detract a tiny bit. They advertise the hat as light weight. I would hate to see a heavy weight. It is not too heavy but there is nothing light weight about it. Heads up to buyers, the hat runs a little small. Thank goodness I ordered extra large. If a large size fits you snug you better order the XL. In spite of my nit picks it is a sharp well made hat that looks better than the photo. If I don't leave it on the plane or lose it some other way, it is likely to become an heirloom hat. :)

measure table is a little off but since a friend and a cousin have one i was able to measure against theirs and find my fit

The hat arrived on time, it's great looking and well made. I would have rated it 5 stars except the hat is slightly too big and I cannot resize it as the Sizing Kit was not included. Also the Chin Cord wasn't included with the shipment. I contacted the company and I was told they will be sending me the missing items. Updated to 5 stars: I received the missing items from Barmah and was able to resize the hat, it now fits perfectly and looks great. I highly recommend them and would purchase again.
