Kalev Marzipan bars 16 x 40g (Vana Tallinn)

Well packed, nice dark choc on top but the actual Almond Marzipan flavor seems off as if there is more of an artificially flavored almond flavor n it? At first I thought it was a liqueur but I don't think it's alcohol but I gather like an fake flavor of Vanilla that another reviewer mentioned..So I will have to give these way sadly..waste of money...will keep on trying to find the real Marzipan I remember from childhood...but these sadly aren't it.

I’ve had this marzipán dessert before but for some reason this tasted almost stale. I don’t want to knock the product for sure because it’s great, but I’m certain the seller does not sell a ton of these and therefor it’s just sitting in their shelves for potentially a long time. That could cause the item go stale.

My wife is from the old country and German tradition is something she remembers. Marzipans are a must on occasion. This product was a good buy. I got 16 bars of good size as far as marzipans go. Usually one pays a lot of money for some tiny piece this almond delight. My wife loved these bars. So hopefully Amazon will continue carrying them and I can keep my wife happy by buying them again.

I first had this chocolate bar when I went home to Estonia this past Christmas. We already had a marzipan infused chocolate candy, but adding the famous Vana Tallinn liquor added, made it even better! I just wish it would be cheaper to order!

Vanillin is an ARTIFICIAL flavor. No good chocolate would have this ingredient. Quite mediocre really
