Q: Are these worth the extra money? I see these are $21.99 for one, but there are sets of other brands for the same price and you get two or three.

I guess that would depend on what you're planning to use it for..these are the only ones I've seen that completely partition each section. The lids have a T shape to seal each compartment, so if there is liquid in one it would not spill to the others. The other sets you mentioned, the glass partitions sit lower and the lid does not completely seal them, so if it tips slightly and you have liquid in one section it will leak into the other compartments. I think they're awesome, especially since I'm not really a microwave user, now I don't have to use a bunch of small dishes to reheat leftovers! Hope this helps!

yes, so air tight and cleanable.

It doesn't have a lunch box that you can put it in. I have one of these myself and what I use and recommend using is a Furoshiki, these are a type of traditional Japanese wrapping cloth traditionally used to transport clothes, gifts, food/bentos or other goods. You can find them here on Amazon and they come in pretty good sizes to wrap the glass box in and I recommend going to this link: https://www.1millionwomen.com.au/blog/how-furoshiki-japanese-fabric-wrapping/ that can show you how to wrap up the container. It's so easy to do.
