Wow!!! Incredible product that miraculously WORKS!! If you've EVER had a boulder-sized zit begin to rise beneath your skin, you know you're in for DAYS of "ugly." Mine seem to slumber until "that time of the month," then WHAM!....I've suddenly got one or two hideous and painful disfiguring red lumps percolating on my face. They've always been too deep to do anything about except endure-UNTIL NOW! The FIRST time I used it, I was stunned to see that Mario Badescu's Drying Cream had shrunk a disgusting, red and painful cystic "boulder" on my cheek by more than HALF by morning! The next night, I slathered the "boulder" again, and again-was amazed by morning. What had begun as another week-long (or longer) deep, painful, disfiguring giant red "zit," was little more than a minuscule "nothing,"- an invisible, internally dried, itty-bitty "bump," invisible-painless-gone! Whatever is in it-whatever the ingredients-this stuff WORKS! Amazingly so, and incredibly fast. Yes-it's expensive, but it WORKS!! Also, you don't need much, simple a q-tip full of this clay-like product (but be sure to slather it thickly) spread over the pimple. It dries in 10 minutes, working its bacteria and oil "slurping" properties as you sleep. I've never used anything that's come close to Badescu's Drying Cream-and I hope, hope, hope that those of you who either suffer from these painful, disfiguring "boulders" once a month, get them once in a blue moon, or worst of all-fight them all the time, will PLEASE give this product a try! It's that good-really!

This cream works excellently. It has cleared up my skin in the week I've been using it, and its tone also corrects redness. I've found that it also makes my makeup last longer. I'm 23 with very oily skin, and I've been using OXY products for years. After using the Mario Badescu Cream, I'm beginning to think OXY was part of the problem. This is not as harsh, and the difference is almost night and day. It does have an odor...somewhere between tarmac and bug repellant, but not nearly so potent. It's not the "rotten eggs" smell I was expecting from a sulphur-based product, and I actually don't mind it. As other reviewers have stated, the thickness and color of the cream, and the fact that it works by laying on top of your skin, can wash out your natural color. For me it's worked best applied in a thin layer at night or at least 20 minutes before applying makeup or sunscreen in the morning.

One of the best acne treatments I’ve found for my adult acne. I actually use prescription meds to treat my adult acne. While my acne is not cystic or terrible by any means, without some kind of treatment I will consistently have 3-4 break outs at a time with no clear cycle in between and that’s embarrassing to me as an adult female in my late 30s. My prescription medication has not been doing the best job lately so I wanted to try this since I love the pink drying lotion. This has been like a miracle. It smells kinda like clay and it mostly rubs in but It’s been so worth it for me. I would highly recommend at least trying it. Using it I have zero breakout! Zero!

Was recommended this product by a friend, and it works surprisingly well. It takes a bit longer than those creams you dollop on your ache the night before but is far less harsh on the skin. Only real negative is the sulfur smell can be a bit off putting.

I use Mario Badescu Drying Lotion and LOVE it for acne pimples that start just below the skin. I decided to purchase this and the Buffering Lotion to add to my routine, hoping that the Drying Cream would function as a cover up / treatment for use under makeup. I can definitely smell a little sulfur in this, which has proven helpful for me in the past; but I didn't find this worked at all under makeup. It's slightly gritty and still leaves a bit of a white residue when massaged into skin. Instead, I've been using this Drying Cream at bedtime, treating any noticeable spots with the Drying Lotion, and then using the Buffering Lotion (which is much more fluid and soaks into my skin) in a morning before makeup. I've only been using this for one week - I'll update after it's been in my routine awhile.

I didn’t have high hopes for this stuff honestly. I’ve tried other Mario Badescu stuff and liked it well enough but wasn’t blown away by it. This stuff, however, is amazing. I’ve broken out horribly since I wear a mask all day. I had deep cystic acne and even just normal zits. I tried this on a Friday night and the next morning the deep cystic stuff was gone and so was the inflammation from it. It wasn’t as red either. It definitely calmed things down. The normal zits did even better with it. I will say I didn’t rub this stuff in and blend it per the instructions but rather dabbed it on the spots and let it sit overnight. The packaging leaves little to be desired because of the film on the top to open it, but that’s such an insignificant complaint. Those saying it smells bad clearly don’t know what sulfur is supposed to smell like. Buy it. You won’t regret it.

This cream works great overnight. As with many products you can't expect miraculous results but these results are very good. The results work best when combined with a drying lotion that they have. I have spent hundreds on pills and products to help with the acne problems and so far this has been the best for me. My skin type is moderately oily and sensitive. Everyone has different skin types but if you have a similar skin type you should try this product out. Regardless of your skin type try it out, this product might be the right one for you. I have bounced from so many products I know what it feels like to doubt them all but this product is good and maybe you won't have to bounce around anymore.

First time using, does have a very strong smell and layer of ‘oil’ on the surface not sure is this normal. Have tried on my acne, it does reduce in redness quickly.
