Worth every penny. Glasses cases are usually pants and don’t store expensive glasses well. Even my new ray bans came with a case I dont trust. This case is well made, closes well and feels like it will last. I’ve bought two more for my wife and my sunnies.

The aluminium case finish makes it both more durable and easier to slide into and out of pockets. The only two minor niggles I have with the case are that it doesn't have a flat bottom - being slight curved means it doesn't sit still when placed on a desk/table. It will rock forwards when placing another pair of glasses in the case (if you have to swap between two pairs for reading for example), and it is inclined to rotate when you touch it again due to not sitting flat. The other small issue is that it is much larger than most normal reading/prescription glasses and so they ned to be wrapped with 2 microfiber cloths to prevent them banging about inside the case when walking around. Other than this, the case has been fantastic. I did place a small dot on one edge to indicate which way was "up" as there are not other markings on the case and it is easy to open it with your glasses on the wrong side.

This is a large specs case. Your RayBan Aviators will rattle around in here. I modified the case by gluing a small piece of foam in the centre. This stops my shades rattling which is irritating when I’m hiking. These are still good value, especially if they’re just for your lounge or car. I haven’t tried jumping on this case but it does feel pretty sturdy.

I needed a glasses case that wouldn't deform or squish out of shape as I often have mine in my pocket and do work installing cables and equipment into houses etc.. this means I'm flexing a lot and pushing against things in tight spaces, but the basic glasses cases would squash and deform easily The case itself was a bit on the 'roomy' side internally so my glasses rattled around noisily, but I fixed this with a make-shift bit of cloth They certainly withstood the 'squashing' effects in terms of holding their shape, unfortunately they weren't durable with any lateral motions, so the hinge section would move out of alignment and the lid close in on its edge again (similar to the basic glasses case) So - if you only need to prevent damage from forces directly against it they'd be fine, just not for lateral flexing.

Have a couple of these cases for each set of glasses. Very durable. They have taken a few blows when crammed into my pack (as evidenced by small dents in the case) but the glasses inside were untouched. A soft case would not have protected my glasses. Great for glasses that get jammed into a pack when you don't what them to get crushed. Highly recommended.
