Un poco complicado la configuración del wifi pero después de eso ha sido genial su funcionamiento

Final update: Lockly customer service reached out and gave me excellent customer service. It seems I had a bad unit and now this one has been holding it's charge like a charm. The lock now does everything it promised. Update: Lockly reached out shortly after and helped me to troubleshoot the lock. Nothing worked and though my lock is way outside the replacement window they have offered me a replacement lock. I appreciate this level of service and I'm updating my review as the situation progresses. I'm changing my original one star to three stars due to the customer service. I will see if the issue was a defect with the lock I originally received. And update my review again ---------- I don't recommend this lock to anyone. I called the support number after being on the call for 6 minutes waiting they said they were sorry that missed me and I could leave a message. My Wi-Fi dongle is located right next to the lock and I have the door open/closed sensor installed. I got home from being away for a while to a dead lock. I've had this for a few months so I wasn't surprised. I drove and got a 9v and powered it long enough to open the door. This happened in the beginning of April. I bought fresh batteries and installed them. I left at the end of April(this is about 3 weeks after installing fresh batteries) and returned 3 weeks later to a COMPLETELY dead lock. Luckily I had my rescue 9v stored outside this time. It took 5 minutes of playing with the placement of the 9v this time for the lock to power up enough to open(I could hear it trying and failing) This is all with a lock that just sits there unused and just dies for no reason.

Installation an initial set up are excellent. I bought the pro version and attempted to hook up the link. Two hours into it all I could get was a flashing red light when you were supposed to have a solid green light. I called Technical Support which requires you to leave your contact information both an email and a phone number. After receiving no call back for three hours I re-contacted Technical Support and left the same contact information. Five days later I got a callback from a technician I could not tell me what to do to fix the problem. It is now three days later and I have not received a callback. I was given a clue by the technician to hit the WPS button on the router to connect the hub. After doing this approximately 15 times I got the first of two hubs connected. I got the second hub connected after about 10 attempts and moving the hub to within inches of the lock. After attempting to hook up the first hub they likely locked up my 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. The 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi remain locked up for seven days until both hubs were successfully linked. Likewise the Lockley system knocked out two of my Ethernet connections… My DIRECTV and a Linksys home network system. I spent 3+ hours with technicians from my Internet provider attempting to resolve this problem on their end to no avail. I had no idea that likely would’ve failed to connect with lock up both Wi-Fi and the Internet. I was not told this by the LOCKLY representative that I talked to. I now have both locks up and running connected to my Google home, fingerprints access, and cell access working and they appear to be great mechanisms. I will likely buy 2 more before this project is done. I have spent more than 15 hours trying to program these two locks. I work at a job that I make $200 plus per hour and would’ve paid the $99 installation fee twice over if I had known Technical Support would be so swamped and unresponsive. Frankly after reading everything that I can on the connection of the Lockley to the Wi-Fi, I feel that I am more of an expert than the technician that I talked to.

I purchased this lock after having two non-functional Yale locks. These were difficult to install due threads stripping out. They were lightly built. This lock was a different story. It is sturdy and heavily made. The fingerprint recognition is excellent. Digital entry of a security code is very good, but limited to a combination of four buttons of six combinations digits. The digits on each button can be jumbled with each entry. I would really love to see the math regarding the number of combinations this yields. The install was very easy with no surprises, if you watch the install video and read the instructions. Use of my iPhone to control lock was easily accomplished with a solid app. The one important con I have found is the Wi-Fi connection requires a dongle plugged into a socket within a few feet. This can result in an intermittent connection or no connection if you lack a power outlet in close proximity to your lock. Lockly needs to work on this weakness. A fingerprint sensor is located on the sturdy outside lock body on the right side. If your door swings from the left (outside) you may have problems inserting your finger between the lock body (where the sensor is located on the right side) and the doorframe. I got lucky with just room for an adult index finger. Watch the YouTube videos regarding this lock/latch. They were very helpful. For me this lock is a definite buy and I would recommend it.

This was my first Lockly. I was so impressed that over the last 4 years I've bought another, and another, and another and another. The technology is the smartest of the smart locks, and the customer service is the best I've ever expected. No really. The kind of customer service they precise is unheard of on this day and age. Their customer service is why I love this company and will be a customer for life.
