I don't believe there is an "on-off" switch. However I had my last one for over 2 years, and the original battery was just fine. I would still have it, but I left it in my pocket, and the washing machine was NOT kind to it.

How do you adjust the stride length to less than what it was preset to?? In resetting it, it only goes up - this is verified by the instructions.

You hold the Set button until it goes all the way past 60 (the maximum) and starts at 12 (the minimum) again. Then hold it until it gets to your desired number. It's right there in the instructions.

Steps are keep resetting to zero or not tracking correct teps...how can we fix this problem?

I've never had that problem. Have you tried to "simple" one of taking the battery out, waiting a few minutes, and then putting it back in?

I worn it clipped to the waist of pants. The one I had was not accurate.

It sucks , would buy this cheapo again

Disappointing

I knew it was inexpensive when I purchased it. However, the reset button did not work from the moment I received it. I did use it for 3 days and found that the distance traveled was inaccurate. So, I returned it. I paid for shipping but they charged me $3.00 plus for shipping when crediting me. I'm not happy!
