Fits and works well no complaints

I do some close up work for my Art hobby. I wear contacts and then have to use readers to see close up. I always noticed, when I removed my contacts, that the Art could look better, not just because I am bad it . lol.. but because I saw it completely differently and with more detail when my contacts were removed. I then looked how to take your current prescription and then add your reader diopter (like +1.50), to come up with a number for some reading glasses that would work when my contacts were removed. Presto ! Following that sequence I ended up choosing a -1.50 and they worked even better than expected without my contacts ! As a sub note, I am nearsighted (myopia) and do not have astigmatism. They even work well enough for walking around the house and not running into walls. Of course I still need my contacts for driving and leaving the house, but these glasses gave me some extra freedom from contacts when at home. Thank you AlwaysUV !

I bought these to have eyeglasses until I visit my doctor for prescription contact lenses. I have worn prescription eyeglasses before. This is too different than prescription glasses. I fell down twice when wearing them. When wearing them, if you try moving your head right and left or up and down, you will realize that there is something off about them. If you decide to buy or to continue wearing them, just be cautioned that while walking, running or driving, you shouldn't trust them as much as you may feel like you can.

When I started having trouble reading the guide on the television from across the room, I looked up eyeglasses for distance and found these. Since I didn't know what strength I would need, I got the mid- strength. I found out it helps with driving also, especially with clip-on sunglasses. I know I still need to see an optometrist, but these will help until I do.

I have bought these in my strength (-1.5) several times now, because they work great and I needed one pair for vacation, one for home etc. I have been wearing them for a few years and none have broken. No frills, unisex look. Love

Fit my face well, fortunately. The lens are thin and I am afraid of scratching the plastic. But good enough u til I get my prescription.

Discovered these only recentlyHad never seen what i call 'drug store' glasses for near sighted people, only "readers" or glasses for those with trouble seeing things up close. Now i dont have to worry so much about losing my glasses or fixing a broken pair..not to mention NOT spending $200+ for a new pair of presecription eyeware vs $16 for these. These are more than adequate!
