Cut through my 4/0 welding cable smooth, quick and easy! Well made and has a good finish. Comfortable handles. Some minor complaints were registered by others about the tool only ratcheting 1 or 2 clicks at a time. Apparently they don't understand that it it was 4 clicks per stroke with the same blade configuration that your arms would have to do twice the work to make a cut! Remember that this tool cuts very large wire and has to be built for leverage against the greater force large wire takes to cut. I am very impressed with the quality and function and for the price I consider it a bargain.

It came in on time, and when I recieved it I though it would be a cheap,one time use thing, because the price was so low. But I was pleasantly surprised that this was a heavy duty cutter. I have used it daily since I got it and it is cutting just as great today as when I first recieved it, thank you

If u need to cut cable or pipe that is too thick to cut with regular cutters or snips, then this tool is for u. It takes all of the struggle and frustration out of the equation. With this ratchet device, u will be able to complete the task with ease. It will cut thru thick cable/pipe quickly and easily. This is perfect for cutting aluminum, copper, etc.

For the money this is a good buy, it is a little bulky but works well. I wanted the smaller ratcheting pliers type but was afraid of the ones in this price range because of comments from reviewers. I used these to cut 4-3 cable, they did it with ease. then after stripping back some insulation I cut the individual 4 gauge wires and it worked well. There aren't any instructions, it took me a minute to figure out you have to open the lever all of the way so you can manually rotate the blade to get it around the cable. Happy with this purchase. I will only use these occasionally, if I made my living doing this I would pay the extra for the high end tools.

I was going to DIY panel upgrade, so wanted to cut 4/0 copper easily. Bought some "standard" cutters first and returned them, as you have to be HULK to use them. This item though is a different story, it cuts cables as butter. Not sure how long they will last, but for DIY these are definitely enough.

I've used it to cut 3/0 cable and it worked fine. There's no instructions and it took me a minute to figure out you have to open the handles all the way to release the jaws so you can open or close them manually. I mostly use them to cut #2 or 3 wire because I'm losing strength in my hands and it's getting hard for me to use non ratcheting cutters.

I've been using this ratchet cutter for 4 years now and it is holding up like it's still new! The leverage is perfect for cutting large cable. I've cut plenty of 500 and 750 kcmil with these with no issues or struggle at all. I recommend it to all my coworkers, and the price just can't be beat for a product with the same quality as $100+ ratchet cutters.

Corta correctamente, he cortado cables de cobre de hasta calibre 400 kcm sin problema, tiene un pequeño detalle ya que al abrir demaciado los mangos liberan el mecanismos de corte por lo que hay que cerrarlas nuevamente sin embargo una vez que las usas te acostumbras pero Por el precio que tienen no es un gran inconveniente esto

Es muy buen producto, hace el corte muy fino y sin esfuerzo aluminio y cobre 1000% recomendado!
