Hyundai Petrol Hedge Trimmer/Pruner, 26cc 2-stroke Easy-Start, Lightweight and Anti-Vibration, 24” (60cm) Blade with 3 Yer Warranty

Im actually a fan of Hyundai power tools and own several of their other machines, however I have to say without hesitiation that this has got to be one of the worst products of its type on the market right now. I bought one 3 days ago and it lasted less than 6 hours from first use. From the beginning, the engine started but would idle and would only run on half choke but as soon as I pressed the throttle trigger it would cut out, this remained the case for the whole time I was using it, The blade would only engage when on half choke and if it encountered any resistance more than about 2mm thick it would slow down or jam completely, it can literally only cope with cutting leaves not even the smallest twig.. After half an hours use the on/off button stopped working so even once it was ruinning and cutting on half choke you had to put full chioke on to make it cut out and within two hrs five of the 7 bolts which holds the blade in place had rattled themseleves free and the blade separted from shaft! As i say I own several other Hyuandai tools including Multi tool, chainsaw, backpack leaf blower, and mower and have always found them to be capabale reliable and good value for money, but this is a joke! I dont even think its made by Hyundai and Im guessing they've outsourced production or licensed their branding, in iether case the result is a product that is not fit for purpose and is and embarrasment to the company. The Company in general has gone downhill since they shifted customer services away from the UK and almost stopped functioning during covid lockdowns and I think that the powers that be at Hyundai should take note. Based on this performanc Im unlikely to renew my next lot of tools with this company and would not advise anyone to buy this product in particular EVER!

Very disappointed with this Hyundai Petrol hedge trimmer. Product returned as failed to start after 20 minutes use. It started twice perfectly OK but after that just would not start. Contacted Hyundai technical support via phone only to be told somebody would phone me back. They did and suggested a couple of things. Neither worked so product returned. If their suggestion doesn’t work you have to go through the whole process of contacting technical support and then wait for a phone call back. All very inconvenient when you have a product that doesn’t work. You cannot sit by a phone all day waiting for a call back.

Got this Hedgecutter a week ago ,first go with it today used it for two hours am a bit disappointed noticed there’s no end cap on the blade which makes it drag when cutting,very tiring. Also the main handle is way to flexible.if you’re hedges are two feet tall by ten inches wide this machine would be suitable,

A next power house in my gardening tools and if you do the right thing it won't leak.

This product ran for 10mins then stopped and wouldn't start anymore
