Good radio
I started using these a few years ago for surveying. They are perfect for what I do. Ive used them out to more than 250 metres. I use them with both Trimble GPS and Topcon robot. No issues. If interested in using for surveying there is a line of sight issue. When RTKing large buildings, warehouse, mall, hotel, will block radio signal.

#justworks
Can't get any better than #justworks. Never had any issue with this device at all. Every feature I wished it had, it has. Even usable on linux. Very expensive, but worth every penny for professional use in my experience.

Hot garbage
Could not connect with multiple devices; kept getting "password wrong" despite using bluetooth password specified in product documentation. How is it I can buy a 10 dollar pair of earbuds from Walmart and have no problem pairing with my phone, but cannot pair this $150 device despite spending an hour on the config software?

Remote Operations Controllers
This works pretty decent, varies on application. Batteries are sold separately but aren't expensive around 8$ a pop and all you need is one. I use them on ROCs 809L and 827L for the past 6 years, they work fine from 9600k baud to 115000k baud. Got some 6 dbi antennas about 5$ for a set and I can hit them about 100 meters out few yards further than a football field. The issue on ABB RTU's products is that they have an initial baud start up and that's a small issues where you have to switch dip switches. Everytime you excute a program change or reset the system, must swap baud rate. ABB doesnt allow the initial and start up baud to be the same. Works better on Emerson "Remote Operations Controllers" Some PLCs like compactlogix 1769 series has worked as well.

Very poor device
Very poor device, I've had this for a couple months and if you can get this thing paired to your laptop it's decent. However every so often it will lose it's brains and you are required to re-pair this thing which is an absolute nightmare. Cost is exorbitantly ridiculous. And it doesn't have a built in battery which is an extra cost.

Not working
Terrible, half the time it refuses to connect. Tried to pair it again it finally pairs, but will not establish a serial connection.
