Oil-Free Moisturizer

I think that this is a great lotion for the price and for what you get. I've been using this now for a while and here are the things that you need to know before you buy. - When putting on your face in colder weather, the powdery residue is more visible. - Your face is still oily, but matted. I will explain this. I've put this on my face in warm weather and in cold weather. When the weather is cool, your skin is more dry and this thing absorbs like crazy. When that happens, there this white powdery residue that is left behind. It will make your face look and appear dry. However this will go away after some time. What I do to combat this is mix my regular face lotion in conjunction with this. When doing this, I advise to mix more of the oil control than you other lotion. I mix about 60-40 (60% oil control lotion 40% Men's + Care lotion) but for you, this may be different. I have an elongated face so this works for me. After you put this on, your face will still be oily so please don't think that your face will be dry. This mattes your face. How this works is by making your face look less oily. In fact, it will look dry, but the oils are there. I just don't want the thought to be that your face wont be oily to the touch. Lastly, this does not last all day. At best, I think it last about 4 to 5 hours, but this may vary from person to person. Overall, when you weigh the price, the size and the value that you are getting, this is a great deal.

I always recommend oil-free moisturizers to patients in the pharmacy who are using prescription or OTC acne products. Acne products often dry and redden the the skin, and this discourages people from using the products to full effect. The Clinique Oil Control is great for daily or twice-daily use, soothing reddened skin without blocking pores (so, it doesn't cause more blemishes). Great product if a little pricey. But less expensive here on Amazon than in the fancy department store!

Excellent moisturizer, exactly what I needed

Very light face moisturizer for men it does not cause a shine after using it . It keeps the skin hydrated for 24 hours and hypoallergenic.

As a man that's suffered from acne due to seriously oily skin for more than 20 years, finding this product has been life changing. I have had pimples since I was a teen, and some unsightly big ones, but not pizza acne, just due to oily skin. I washed my face twice a day and used many products. Finally, my new gf recommended this. In combination with Cetaphil daily face cleanser, my skin is finally pimple free! I still get occasional pimples, but it's no longer due to oil but likely eating something too sugary (like a normal person). I put it on daily after my shower and I can feel it absorb the bad oil and leave my skin feeling soft and dry due to the hydration. I really can't recommend this enough, it's been the best thing since sliced bread for me.

I have tried so many different types of face scrubs and have found them too be either too watery, too thick, too abrasive but Clinique really hits the spot just having the right size of granules in the scrub, and it will not hurt, nor scratch yet does an amazing job exfoliating your skin. I still recommend use a good facial cleanser before or after you scrub depending on your normal routine and would not use daily. Its best to use 2-3 times per week so as to not overexfoliate. Best scrub though ever and a little goes a long way..
