Creepy.
Junji ito, once again, does his thing. Great stories and amazing art. Each story had its own creepy and sometimes silly parts which makes it a great short stories collection.

I LOVE THIS SMSMMSSM
This book is honestly the best. Jinjo ito is just so taleted. All i have to say really is its open on the left side as its Japanese so if that annoys you id advise trying to find a one that fixes that but that doesnt really bother me! Overall best book highly highly recommend

Loved This!!
Deserter by Junji Ito is a gripping collection that showcases his mastery of unsettling atmosphere and psychological horror. Each story is short but memorable; some of my favourites include Bio House, The Devil's Logic & Village of the Siren. The artwork is detailed and expressive, making the emotions and tension feel immediate and intense. Ito has a way of using people's everyday fears and turning them into something unimaginable, but in a way that keeps you reading and wanting more! Deserter is a great read for fans of horror who enjoy stories that linger in your mind long after you finish them. I highly recommend!!

My last junji review
I think it's time I take a break from junji, it's not hitting the spot like it used to when I first read his stories. I also didn't realise the art in this one was some of his older work. I just find myself reading these strange stories now and I'm just kind of like okay that was weird and then I instantly forget about it. That's when I know im getting a bit bored.

Ito’s earliest works. Each Story has a unique and creepy story line and there is vibe of freshness as usual but artwork is not as detailed as we can see in his later part of career, that is ok as he was beginning his career as a newcomer when these stories were created. Worth buying for a horror and Ito fan.
